Ever wonder what happens when a former magic-maker from the Harry Potter universe trades wands for OnlyFans? Jessie Cave, best known as Lavender Brown—Ron Weasley’s stylishly complicated ex—has conjured up quite the digital niche, all centered around her famously fabulous hair. At 38 and a mother of four, Jessie’s journey took a surprising twist in March 2025, stepping away from the enchanted film world to embrace a rather unique online venture. Now, under the ever-watchful gaze of social media sorcery, she’s turning down a whopping ‘90 per cent’ of quirky and sometimes downright peculiar fan requests. Talk about selective magic! With Mercury possibly hinting at communication quirks and unexpected social moves this season, Jessie’s story couldn’t be more timely or intriguing—after all, who knew a hair fetish could stir up such a spell? A Harry Potter actor, who has found somewhat of a niche on OnlyFans, has revealed that she turns down ’90 per cent’ of the requests she gets online.
Jessie Cave – otherwise known as Ron Weasley’s (Rupert Grint) former love interest, Lavender Brown, in the Harry Potter series – is now 38-years-old in real life.
And it seems the mother of four decided to explore new opportunities in March 2025 after two decades of working in the movie industry.
Specifically, a friend noticed the attention Cave’s distinctive hair received on social media and suggested that she monetise it on OnlyFans. She now has a page dedicated solely to hair-themed content.
Cave clarified that her page avoids explicit material, focusing on aesthetic and fetish-based interest in her hair.

“I don’t have a fetish myself – at least I didn’t – but it’s really interesting to see that whole world, with the things people ask me to do,” she explained to the Daily Mail.
One of the struggles, however, is spending ’90 per cent of her time’ refusing certain one-on-one requests.
Some of her fans would ask to watch her apply products to her wet hair and split ends.
Despite getting some bizarre requests, Cave said that she doesn’t get as many any more.

“I used to get a lot more, but there are definitely fewer now,” she added.
During a previous episode of her podcast Before We Break Up Again, Cave revealed that some of her subscribers had also been sending ‘lurid messages’ and ‘unsolicited’ d**k pics back in May.
And although she’s made a lot of money in the process, she claims it’s got her ‘cancelled’ from the franchise.
Cave, who featured in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 (2010) and Part 2 (2011), said in a 17 September post on Substack: “I found out that I didn’t get booked for a Harry Potter convention recently, as I’m now doing OnlyFans.

“They explained it was because it’s a ‘family show and OnlyFans is affiliated with porn’.
“This was baffling to me, as some actors who do conventions (most actors, actually) have done TV and films in which they’ve done sex scenes and nudity. I’m just playing with my hair!”
Cave went on to explain: “I am not upset about the prospect of no more Harry Potter conventions.
“There’s going to be a new cast now, and it’s a different time. Plus, I have done conventions for over 15 years and have enough photos and wizard memorabilia.”
The new HBO Harry Potter TV series is scheduled to come out in 2027.
