She was captured kneeling on the characteristic white mineral formations of the Saturnia Hot Springs, with her arms joyfully lifted toward the sky. Her curves pushed against the tiny bikini top, spilling just slightly underneath.

Halle Bailey wrote in the caption of the carousel that she just completed her “second film of the year.” That project turned out to be “Italianna,” a rom-com with Bridgerton’s Regé-Jean Page, filmed in Tuscany over the summer.

Meanwhile, she announced on X in May that she had just completed shooting another film, which is presumed to be the first film of the year. Although she didn’t disclose what movie/show it is.

Between movies like “The Little Mermaid” and “The Color Purple,” plus her June single, “Braveface,” Bailey’s work ethic is undeniable. Still, many followers focused less on her career moves and more on her parenting choices.

Earlier this year, Halle Bailey filed for sole custody of her 1-year-old son, citing physical and emotional abuse from her ex, DDG. The court reportedly granted her temporary sole custody, with DDG allowed only supervised visits.

While Bailey’s move was likely about safety, not everyone saw it that way. Before the custody battles and restraining orders, Halle Bailey and DDG were one of Gen Z’s favorite couples. The pair started dating in 2022 and marked their relationship with public affection, including red carpets and TikToks.

But their 2024 split turned bitter fast. Currently, Halle Bailey is reportedly in a relationship with music producer Scott Bridgeway. It appears she’s moved on, but the custody fight lingers.
