“The Attleboro Police Department said a man was arrested after allegedly “body slamming” a woman after a minor motor vehicle crash.
26-year-old Gladior Kwesiah, of Pawtucket, was charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon seriously injury resulting, malicious destruction of property, and driving without a license.
Police responded to the area of Route 1 and Route 1A for reports of a vehicle crash.
When police arrived they said they found a “petite female” lying in the roadway, crying in pain and bleeding from the head with a “large male” standing over her.
Witnesses on scene told police that female and male were involved in a minor motor vehicle crash when she hit the back of his car.
They said the man then banged on the roof of her car, yanked her out of it, and began arguing, with the woman telling the man to leave her alone.
Police said a video provided to them allegedly showed the man then lift the woman up and throw her onto the ground head-first.
