The secret daughter of Freddie Mercury proved her identity with a DNA test, after making the bombshell claim.
For years, the Queen frontman was believed to have died without any children, but this all changed with the news of an upcoming biography on the legendary rockstar.
Mercury, real name Farrokh Bulsara, passed away in November 1991, aged 45, from bronchial pneumonia as a complication of AIDS.
A lot is known of the late British singer, with several biographies in the past revealing information about the eccentric artist, while 2018 film Bohemian Rhapsody lifted the lid on Mercury’s life to the wider public.
But if you thought we knew everything, you’d be wrong; Mercury’s alleged secret child came out recently to reveal that the artist fathered a daughter after all.

While the book stated that the child was accidentally conceived in 1976 following an affair that Mercury had with the wife of a close friend, many doubted the claims.
Following the excerpts that were published in MailOnline this month, which are set to be released officially in Lesley Ann Jones’ upcoming biography, Love, Freddie, in September, the author has clarified that the identity of Mercury’s daughter, known only as B, was verified.
Jones explained in a statement: “To those ‘demanding’ to see proof of a DNA test, otherwise they won’t believe it – please rest assured that the requisite verification was obtained, legal teams have been involved, but that such measures are private and not shared publicly.”
She also clarified that the singer’s diaries were not ‘faked with AI’, saying on X: “To those insisting Freddie Mercury’s diaries were faked with AI, that his daughter ‘doesn’t exist’ and that I’ve made the whole thing up: wait and see.
“His true story, told in his own words, is incredible. I love him all the more for it. You will too.”

It is said that B was born in the 1970s, and that she was left with 17 volumes of his personal journals, all of which she openly shared with Jones.
She first approached the author three years ago, though many may be surprised to learn of her existence, given that many assumed that the ‘Somebody To Love’ singer was gay.
However, as the artist never publicly disclosed his sexuality, he was said to have had relationships with men and women, most famously having a strong bond with ex-fiancée Mary Austin, who inherited a large share of Mercury’s estate after he passed away.
Jones noted that she was doubtful of B’s approach at first, but admits that she believes it all, pointing out: “No one could have faked all this.
“Why would she have worked with me for three-and-a half years, never demanding anything?”

It is said that his daughter is now 48 and lives in Europe, and she said that she always knew the musician.
The upcoming biography features a handwritten letter from Mercury’s apparent daughter, which reads: “Freddie Mercury was and is my father. We had a very close and loving relationship from the moment I was born and throughout the final 15 years of his life.
“He adored me and was devoted to me. The circumstances of my birth may seem, by most people’s standards, unusual and even outrageous. That should come as no surprise. It never detracted from his commitment to love and look after me.
“Those who have been aware of my existence kept his greatest secret out of loyalty to Freddie.”
She said that Mercury would call her everyday, even as he toured the world, though B added that she now leads an ‘intensely private’ life with her husband and family, highlighting: “Nobody needs to know who I am.”
