Finneas Responds To “Guess Who Killed Billie Eilish” AI

Billie Eilish’s brother, Finneas, is being praised after he responded to a seriously bizarre TikTok video about Billie getting killed. And yes, you read that correctly.

In the TikTok, an AI version of Billie can be seen under the caption: “guess who k1lled billie based on their reactions.” What follows is AI clips of various “suspects” seemingly reacting to her “death,” including Finneas, their parents, Patrick and Maggie, and Finneas’s girlfriend, Claudia Sulewski.

Undeniably still showing his disdain for the content in his comment, Finneas bluntly wrote: “You killed a forest with this amount of AI and for what.”

But the OP insisted they had no idea that AI was so bad for the environment as they replied to Finneas, writing: “i sincerely apologize, i didn’t know using ai can cause that. i genuinely just thought it was a funny video,” and before long, another Billie fan had shared a screenshot of the exchange on X, which quickly went viral.

And it’s true that both Finneas and Billie have been incredibly vocal about climate change for some time now, with Billie even partnering with an organization called REVERB for her tours, which brings sustainability to entertainment through eco-friendly packaging, meat-free meals for workers, and — of course — methods to offset an artist’s carbon emissions.

In short, Finneas and Billie certainly walk the walk as well as talk the talk when it comes to eco issues, so it’s completely unsurprising that Finneas would also take this stance against AI.
