FaZe Banks has asked the ‘Hawk Tuah’ girl to fire her entire team after they allegedly ‘leaked’ a new podcast episode about the controversial cryptocurrency scandal.
Haliey Welch needs little introduction after she became a viral sensation for, you know, that video.
Don’t pretend like you’ve not seen it.
Since the fame, the Tennessee resident has quit her job and started her own podcast, Talk Tuah with Haliey Welch, which has over 200k subscribers.

In recent months, the Hawk Tuah girl has been criticised for her cryptocurrency dealings, by promoting a coin named ‘$HAWK token’, which became available on 4 December.
Its market cap went up to $490 million (£384 million), and then the coin quickly lost more than 95 percent of its value.
Welch was accused of doing a ‘pump and dump’, which is when people hype up a coin to drive up its value and then sell it quickly for profit. Everyone else lost millions.
Although lawsuits were launched against the coin’s creators, Welch wasn’t named as a defendant.
Now, a leaked episode of her podcast has recently been shared on social media, and it features the founder of popular e-sports organisation FaZe Clan, who is also an influencer.
But since it’s been leaked, Banks – whose real name is Richard Bengston – has complained that his two stipulations were not met beforehand.

Over on his X account, Banks said his first stipulation was ‘not allowing markets to be manipulated by leaking this episode’s existence before a resolution was found’.
“The price of $HAWK is pumping and they completely f**king fumbled the bag, yet again,” he complained.
“Her team finding a REAL solution regarding the money she made, where that should go and what to do with the $HAWK project moving forward,” he penned.
“What a f**king mess. Poor girl, it’s a wonder how she found herself in this position in the first place,” Banks continued.
“Now @HalieyWelchX I’m going to speak to you direct and say the exact same thing I said to you on spaces that night. Fire everybody.”
In the clip, Welch said the idea had been pitched to her as a ‘long-term coin’ that would ‘change the way everybody thinks about crypto’.
“And I feel really bad for all the people that got affected by it,” she said. “And it just didn’t go the way I planned.”
“I probably should have looked into him a little bit more,” Welch said of the ‘friend of a friend’ who got her involved.
