There’s bound to be a bunch of laughs when Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly collaborate on a project. The men have made several films together including Step Brothers and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.

“The first time Will and I met, we knew we had something in common, and it wasn’t until we actually got together to work we thought, oh, this is why we were put on this Earth, to make hijinks together,” said Reilly.

Steve Martin and Martin Short have been working together for several decades. Most recently, they can be seen in Only Murders in the Building, but have been in iconic projects such as Three Amigos! and Father of the Bride.

The pair met in 1984, but bonded a year later during the making of Three Amigos!.

Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson are known for their frequent comedic collaborations in projects such as Zoolander, Starsky & Hutch, and Night at the Museum.

Wilson gushed over the nice letter he received from Stiller in the 1990s after completing Bottle Rocket. Stiller wrote that he wanted to work with him one day.

Brother and sister John and Joan Cusack didn’t need to work for their on-screen chemistry because they are real-life siblings. The two have done about 10 movies together including War, Inc., Sixteen Candles, and High Fidelity.

“My brother does not let me look bad. I believe in John and his passion,” said Joan.

Not only have friends and co-stars Ben Affleck and Matt Damon appeared in nine films together, but they’ve also written, directed, and produced many more together.

Julia Roberts and Richard Gere’s chemistry flew off the screen when Pretty Woman was released. They knew they needed to work together again, so they made Runaway Bride about a decade later.

Gere was hesitant to make Pretty Woman, but Roberts convinced him he would do great. “He changed all of our lives forever by agreeing to do this movie,” she said.

Hollywood stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway played a couple in two films (Brokeback Mountain, Love and Other Drugs).

While filming Love and Other Drugs, Gyllenhaal joked about how easy it was for him to have Hathaway as his love interest. “I’ve had a pretty illustrious career at this point, but the hardest thing has been pretending to be turned on by Anne Hathaway,” he said.

Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara met in the 70s performing in the Second City improv theater and have continued working together ever since.
