Dua, who is known for her trend-setting sense of style, modeled a GCDS swimsuit with a barely there, crochet finish. The “New Rules” star was showered with love by some fans. Others, however, criticized her. One user seeing a repost on X was even “creeped” out by Dua’s look, saying that adults wearing kiddie cartoon clothing is weird to them.

Dua looked fitter than ever in her pricey two-piece, one boasting checkered briefs adding pops of pink, plus a high waist. The yoga lover was even featured on the CDGS Instagram, although it was on the X repost that fans got busy discussing the bathing suit.

“There’s something creepy about grown women wearing child’s cartoon characters on their undies/ pyjamas/ clothing,” one fan said. Others queried the price tag. “Someone make a dupe. Who is paying 285 for two inches of fabric be real,” another wrote. Dua has since made a slew of swimwear headlines, spending much of July and August stripping down during her summer vacations.

Dropping more hot swimwear action on her feed, the Versace ambassador rocked chic polka dots while showing off her curves, soaking up the sun during another ocean day as she topped up her tan. Dua visited both Spain and Italy during her summer break, also making headlines for a bikini-clad yoga session from a paddleboard while in Ibiza.

Dua Lipa turned 30 on August 2022, having spent much of the prior weeks building up to her big day.
