Disgraced Co-Star Throws Shade After Sarah Jessica Parker’s Golden Globes Win—What Did She Say That’s Got Everyone Talking?

Added on January 14, 2026 inCelebrity News Cards

So, Sarah Jessica Parker just snagged herself the ‘Carol Burnett award’ at the Golden Globes — a nod to her decades of work lighting up our screens as the unforgettable Carrie Bradshaw. But wait, before we pop the champagne, her longtime Sex and the City co-star Chris Noth, aka Mr. Big (yes, that Mr. Big!), decided to throw shade heavier than a Scorpio on a bad day. Picture this: while Parker was basking in well-earned glory, Noth was busy at the gym, posting a cryptic “F&@k new years – LETS GO!!!!” on Instagram… and when a fan cheekily suggested it was a swipe at SJP’s award, he bluntly agreed. Now, with their reported ghosting since late 2021 amidst serious allegations, plus Mr. Big’s dramatic exit from And Just Like That, this real-life drama makes me wonder—is this cosmic friction between a Libra like SJP and a Capricorn like Noth finally manifesting on Earth? Or just another plot twist in the soap opera of celebrity life? Either way, grab your martinis — it’s gonna be a bumpy ride. LEARN MORE.

After winning a Golden Globe last week for her overall contribution to TV and years of work, Sarah Jessica Parker’s former Sex and the City co-star appears to have taken a brutal swipe at her.

Parker played the iconic Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City throughout the 90s and 00s, and at the weekend she received the ‘Carol Burnett award’, which honours the winner’s ‘outstanding contributions to television on or off the screen’.

Whilst most in the room were all pleased for her, there was one former co-star who decided to take a swipe at the actress on Instagram.

Chris Noth starred in the Sex and the City TV show, films, and even a subsequent follow-up series And Just Like That… playing John James Preston (aka Mr Big).

The Mr Big actor starred opposite Parker for over 40 episodes and has played her on-screen husband for years, so it will come as a surprise that he decided to aim a brutal dig in Parker’s direction.

Parker received the honorary Golden Globe on January 6, with Noth posting a picture of himself at the gym on Instagram just a few days later on January 9.

He added the caption: “F&@k new years – LETS GO!!!!”

One fan decided to stir the pot by asking: “You mean f**k SJP and her award right? Lol,” to which he simply responded by saying: “Right.”

He and Parker have reportedly not spoken since December 2021 when multiple accusations of sexual assault were made against him.

Fans have accused Parker of writing him out of And Just Like That… with Mr Big dying of a heart attack in just the first episode of the follow-up show.

The first episode, however, came out roughly a week before the allegations against Noth were made public.

Two women came forward to the Hollywood Reporter to accuse Noth of sexually assaulting them.

The pair said they were assaulted by Noth in 2004 in Los Angeles and in 2015 in New York City, respectively.

The actor strongly denied the allegations made against him, saying in a statement at the time: “The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false.

“These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago—no always means no—that is a line I did not cross.

“The encounters were consensual.”

Asked by The Hollywood Reporter in May of 2022 about her reaction to the allegations as a producer on the show, she stated she ‘wasn’t ready to talk about that yet’, but when asked if she was still in contact with Noth, she simply said: “No.”

Parker was part of a joint cast statement in response to the allegations, stating they stood with the women who accused him.

Posted to Instagram, the statement read: “We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth. We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences.

“We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it.”

LADbible had contacted a rep of Chris Noth for comment.
