Y’all know why I’m here! We all saw *that interview*, right? Ugh, it still makes me cringe hearing someone refer to Delroy Lindo as an emerging artist, but I’m gonna take a deep breath and pull out some receipts for those who may be uninformed!
Across genres and decades, Lindo has made a career out of playing men shaped by systems, responsibility, and hard choices, and giving them a dignity that refuses to be flattened into a trope. He makes every character feel lived-in, and so much of his acting lives before the dialogue. That’s not accidental. That is craftiness!
