The stone is so large it practically deserves its own zip code, catching the light in a way that has social media collectively gasping.

Her caption kept things short and sweet, simply writing, “Sí, quiero. En esta y en todas mis vidas,” translating to “Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives.”

Speaking with TalkTV’s Piers Morgan, Ronaldo recalled the painful conversations they had with their children in the days following. “In the beginning, Gio arrived home, and the kids started to say, ‘Where’s the other baby? Where’s the other baby?'” he shared, per Daily Mail.

Ronaldo further explained that Cristiano Jr., then 12, understood more than his younger siblings.

The soccer player said, “I had a conversation with him that day. We cried together in his bedroom and I explained… he doesn’t understand, he does understand, but in some ways he was a little bit confused.”

For the younger children, the questions came at the dinner table. “They started to say: ‘Mom, where is the other baby?'” Ronaldo recalled. “In the beginning, they would mention it because, you know, she still had a little bit of a belly because there had been two. It’s a hard process. And after one week, I said, ‘Let’s be up front and let’s be honest with the kids. Let’s say that Ángel… they go to Heaven.'”

While she’s often recognized globally as Ronaldo’s partner, Georgina has carved out her own identity in the public eye.

In a candid Vogue interview with Ronaldo, she admitted it hasn’t always been easy navigating fame, explaining that “we live in a very complicated world where everything can change very quickly.” Still, she focuses on the positive, saying she’s “very proud to be [Ronaldo’s] wife” and of their family.
