Camila Cabello’s Wardrobe Malfunction Disaster: How She Barely Kept Her Cool (and Her Clothes) Onstage!

On Aug. 14, Camila Cabello‘s Yours, C Tour stopped in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, where she performed at the Kaohsiung Pop Music Center.

If you’ve never seen a Camila concert, she’s rocking non-stop from start to finish in stylish outfits on large set pieces — but sometimes things might pop off a little too hard, like her corset.

Camila wore a pink corset and mini skirt with fingerless gloves and knee-high combat boots designed by Heather Picchiottino, who made looks for artists like Katy Perry and Olivia Rodrigo.

Camila was performing “Chanel No. 5” from her fourth studio album C, XOXO, when her corset came undone. In a fan-captured video, Camila tells the crowd, “You guys, the truth is my corset is fully open right now, but we’re going to close it. So it’s okay!” But unfortunately, they’re unable to fix it before continuing the performance.

In another fan-captured video with a closer view, she could be seen holding her corset while dancing, her top secured by keeping her arms close to her body.

There was a point when Camila moved closer to the crowd, and a crew member rushed to redo the back of her corset. Once the mishap was fixed, Camila signaled that all was good and finished the rest of the show without problems.

On social media, Camila seemed unfazed by the mishap posting, “Kaohsiung!!!!!! what a way to start the asia leg of the yours, c tour!! i love you and thank you i love you and thank you i love you and thank you!!!!!!!! Forever.”

But, on her Instagram Stories, she addressed what happened at the concert, writing on a selfie, “My corset fully popped open during that therefore the panic during ‘Chanel No. 5’ but that was fun love you so much.”

Her fans thought she “handled it like a pro” and enjoy her playful response to the malfunction. On X, one person wrote, “this show was magical, we felt everything through the screen. AND THAT ACOUSTIC COVER, BOAT ON PIANO… THE CORSET KNEW WHAT YOU WERE GOING TO DO AND FELL FOR THE EXCITEMENT.”

“When your corset popped open but you’re a professional singer so you still finish the song like a pro,” another commented.

Finally, someone said, “Camila’s corset came undone during the show, but even so, she didn’t miss the chance to be a clown and make fun of it. It’s so great to love this woman.”
