Betsy Brandt is joining the coven of Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches.

The AMC Networks series has tapped the Breaking Bad alum as a series regular for season three. Brandt’s role only has a name: Katherine.

The third season of the series starring Alexandra Daddario begins production this week in Vancouver, Canada.

Per AMC, season three will “dive deeper into the mythology of witchcraft, introduce new spellbound families and feature some of the historical happenings of Salem, Mass., the infamous town of witch trials and folklore.”

Brandt is best known for playing Marie on AMC’s Emmy-winning Breaking Bad, marking a return for Brandt to the network. She later reprised her role in the finale of Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul. Elsewhere on TV, she’s starred in the CBS comedy Life in Pieces, opposite Michael J. Fox in the Michael J. Fox Show on NBC and on AMC’s dystopian love anthology series Soulmates. She is repped by TalentWorks, Patty Woo Management, Viewpoint and Del Shaw Moonves Tanaka. 

Along with Daddario and Brandt, Mayfair Witches stars Harry Hamlin, Tongayi Chirisa and Alyssa Jirrels.

Season three is executive produced by Mark Johnson, who oversees the Anne Rice Immortal Universe for AMC Networks, along with co-showrunners Esta Spalding and Thomas Schnauz, with Michelle Ashford and Tom Williams. 

Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe franchise for AMC also includes Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire, now in production on season three’s The Vampire Lestat, and Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order, which premiered this past weekend.
