Venus and Mars

Monday is emotionally dynamic, in a good way. If you have challenges, face them and find yourself supported in flow and in fire.

Monday morning’s Cancer Moon trines retro Neptune in Pisces and sextiles retro Uranus back in Taurus. That’s a recipe for finding flow and accessing a practical jump start. Take advantage of any shortcuts that present themselves: they’re divine.

By midday, the Moon moves to sunny Leo and an opposition to Pluto in Aquarius. It then goes on to trine Sagittarius Mars, square Scorpio Venus, then trine retro Mercury in Sagittarius in quick succession by evening. The challenge of the journey itself presents the fuel to get the deed done and set the path for success. That doesn’t mean you’ll feel that success in the moment, though. The important thing is to rise to the moment and fire up your engines. If you miss a few details, then maybe that’s what’s meant to happen. Jump up and get at it.

Retrograde Mercury heads back through Sagittarius to conjoin Mars once again (dynamic duo!), exact Wednesday evening. Sadge-ruler Jupiter stations retrograde Tuesday morning. I don’t know if you’ve ever experienced this, but I have… I’ve also see it in movies. Something important is shifting in the plot, a complex and high stakes moment in motion, and everything seems to slow down so you see each component clearly and act with a greater sense of meaning and re-worked clarity. THAT. That’s possible this week. So keep your eyes and ears open and keep moving forward in case you get there. It’s a LOT, but again, it’s a good thing.

Tuesday’s Leo Moon opposes Aquarius Pallas Athena and trines Juno in Sagittarius. It then goes on to square the Scorpio Sun by night. When faced with patterns in the collective, we’re likely to double down on responding with our own; but it’s a rare opportunity to catch the ways in which we’re driven by reactivity and tune into what will serve our own passion for meaning and spur a commitment to our own truth… or find a way to merge that with a larger truth in the collective. In any case, somewhere we’re confronted, and within lies a chance to turn with joy to the answer.

That Moon square Sun aspect takes us midway from the last full moon to the next new moon, and to feel which way the wind is blowing. All week, retro Jupiter trines retro Saturn and the Scorpio Sun heads into trine with both. They say there’s nothing new under the Sun, but each of us feels our journey brand new as we live it in forward motion.

This week, we have the perfect conditions to set in a Goldilocks pathway: not too big, not too little. No matter where we’re coming from, push and pull line up to allow us to maneuver these conditions for personal change into fated and meaningful movable pillars. Put yourself into the position to access those benefits. In a way it’s brand new, but in another way it’s a chance to course correct back through generations.

Wednesday’s Leo Moon trines retro Chiron in Aries then goes on to square retro Uranus in Taurus. If it feels like you’re getting the hang of this thing, you’re not wrong. Fire up and lean in to what’s going right. Whether or not you do, surprises will erupt out of nowhere. You can be reactive and ego driven, or you can take them for an opportunity to tune up and perfect in practice. Do you want to be right or smarter and more accomplished?

Afternoon takes the Moon into earthy Virgo. Overnight, the Virgo Moon squares retro Mercury and Mars in Sagittarius. This occurs with Virgo-ruler Mercury hot off its exact conjunction to Mars. When you understand what you’ve done, when you understand it viscerally and in detail, well there’s no better teacher. Stay thoughtful. Reactivity is not necessarily a big deal, but it’s easy to be misunderstood or to misunderstand in this way. If it makes you feel better, sure; but does it really? Either way, you can learn to let that fire burn off. That’s possible through seeking clarification or giving grace (there may be a meaningful explanation). Perfectionism is a pitfall in this case.

On Thursday morning, the Virgo Moon, Mercury-Mars square perfects as the Moon also sextiles Venus in Scorpio. What did you learn? There’s a chance to make it life altering, something satisfying and gratifying. By day’s end, the Moon passes over its south node, and it’s a chance to center and draw down on what you truly know and own about where you’re coming from. A deep down sense that things will work out is always welcome.

Friday morning’s Virgo Moon moves along thoughtfully with a bigger picture look back at recent happenings. The Moon sextiles the Sun by afternoon, and all info is good info if you’re ready for change. The Moon then sextiles retro Jupiter in Cancer and opposes retro Saturn in Pisces. Hope is realistic if you’re facing your future with an eye on the past. Don’t feel movie perfect? That’s a good sign. This is real life, and you’re grounded in real life lessons. It’s just fine if that pumps you up a bit.
