Danielle Fishel revealed her former costar William Daniels will join her on the competitive reality show next week, and I’m here for it! She dished about all the details on her podcast, Danielle with the Stars.
“Mr. Feeny himself is going to be on the ballroom floor with me,” said Fishel. She and partner Pasha Pashkov are performing the jive for next Tuesday’s Dedication Night episode, which allows contestants to honor someone special in their life.
Fishel portrayed Topanga Lawrence, and Daniels portrayed beloved teacher and principal Mr. Feeny when Boy Meets World aired from 1993–2000.
And guess what song they will be performing to? “We get to dance to the Boy Meets World theme song, the one you all know and love,” said Fishel. I can already confirm this is going to be ICONIC!
“It’s really a dedication to Bill and the role he has played in my life and the role Boy Meets World has played in my life,” said Fishel.
“He’s just such an inspiration to so many of us,” she added. “And to be able to say thank you to him and give him this kind of a platform for him to receive the love that he deserves is going to be very memorable.”
Daniels, now 98, shared photos from another Boy Meets World reunion in 2024, which instantly brought us back to the halls of John Adams High.
“To see him at 98 still going to conventions, he’s gonna be on the ballroom floor next week, and he was part of a show that completely changed my life,” said Fishel.
Can’t wait to see you bust a move, F-F-F-Feeny!
