In case you missed it: Near the end of 2025, speculation started to spread online that Blake and Gwen, who got married back in 2021, were on their way out couples-wise.
At the time, a report from People suggested that the rumors were just that and nothing more. “There is no truth to the split rumors,” a source told the publication, citing the pair’s packed schedule as a reason why the rumors started circulating.
Typically, a denial like that — official or not — would likely be all we get. But in a somewhat surprising turn of events, Blake recently addressed the rumors head-on in an interview with Country Countdown USA.
“Starting in October, I think, or maybe November, I started noticing these articles popping up about ‘Blake and Gwen, they’re split up,’” he said.

Blake then recalled that, after seeing headlines that the pair were “not even seeing each other anymore” and “going through a divorce,” “a week later, a picture comes out of us walking out of the grocery store,” he noted, saying the headlines switched to “‘Oh, they’re back together again!’”
He then mentioned that, a week after the pair were snapped by paps, Blake saw a headline at the grocery store saying they were still getting divorced. As a result, he now doesn’t “believe anything anymore that he’s seen on the internet” — although, it sounds like the grocery store is a bit of a problem, too!
