Reese is no stranger to breaking the internet. Ever since squaring off against WNBA all-star Caitlin Clark during the 2023 NCAA national championship game, the basketball player has remained a trending topic.
The conversation around Reese continued in late January 2025 after she announced a new business collaboration with McDonald’s.
According to a press release, Reese teamed up with the Golden Arches to inspire younger athletes to continue working hard to turn their dreams into reality.
“I hope the Angel Reese Special inspires young athletes everywhere to never give up on pursuing their dreams,” Reese said.
The message of perseverance carried through to the company’s Super Bowl commercial for the special meal, which aired on the night of the big game.

Latto, whose latest album, “Sugar Honey Iced Tea,” reached No. 15 on the Billboard 200, gave a big shout-out to Reese on her X page, acknowledging how hard the young athlete has worked over the last several years.
“Always in her bag,” she wrote before urging her fans to go get the “Angel Reese Special.”
Current WNBA champion Stewart also joined in on the fun, acknowledging her scene in the commercial with Latto in which she tried to score but was denied due to the “Brokey” rapper’s presence around the hoop.

Reese’s deal with McDonald’s won’t be the last partnership the former LSU player snags from a major brand.
In fact, the 22-year-old has kept her followers up to date with the business ventures she’s part of with her new podcast, “Unapologetically Angel.”
During an interview about the show, the Chicago Sky power forward said the platform would be “another way for me to connect with my fans and reach new audiences I wouldn’t necessarily have before.”
“I mainly want this podcast to be a place for authentic and unfiltered conversations. Whether I’m sharing insights on basketball, the current trends in fashion, or the latest news in entertainment,” she said.
Since the first episode dropped in 2024, Reese’s show has aired many more, featuring several influential guests, including Sheryl Swoopes, Dwayne Wade, Lonzo Ball, and NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal.
