In a royal twist that feels almost Shakespearean, the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, seems to be stepping back from her role as the royal family’s unofficial peacemaker—can you believe it? After a health scare that turned her focus inward, Kate is now concentrating on her well-being and the future of the monarchy, which apparently doesn’t include her estranged brother-in-law, Prince Harry, or his wife, Meghan Markle. Talk about a family reunion gone sideways! With Prince William gearing up to take on even more responsibility as heir to the throne, it seems like the Wales family is committed to weathering their public lives without the distractions of their West Coast relatives. So, how does one navigate a royal family drama reminiscent of a reality show? Well, it looks like Kate is setting her sights firmly on what matters—her health and the royal legacy—leaving the Sussexes in the rearview mirror. Grab your popcorn; it’s about to get interesting!
According to a royal expert, the Princess of Wales has chosen to prioritize her health and the monarchy’s future alongside William and her father-in-law, King Charles III.
With a complete shift approaching as William prepares for the throne, the Wales family is concentrating on navigating their new public life, leaving Prince Harry and Meghan Markle behind.

MEGAReports have long suggested that Kate once aimed to help reconcile William and Harry. However, after her cancer battle, her focus seems to have shifted.
During a chat with Fox News Digital, Christopher Andersen, author of “The King,” shared that the Princess of Wales is no longer concerned with the Sussexes, noting that her primary attention is on securing the monarchy’s future alongside William and Charles.
“The idea that Kate somehow still has the time and energy to continue playing peacemaker is rubbish,” Andersen explained. “She did try over a period of years and finally threw up her hands in disgust. She did her bit, but it wasn’t enough to build a bridge between William and Charles on the one side and Harry on the other.”

However, not everyone is convinced that Kate ever took on the role of peacemaker following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s departure from royal duties.
Royal expert Ian Pelham Turner expressed skepticism to the publication, stating, “It’s an interesting scenario that Kate is a peacemaker between William and Harry. I’ve not heard of this and wonder if it is coming from a PR source promoting Kate.”

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams also revealed to the publication that Kate is fully aligned with William regarding their approach to the royal family feud.
“Harry portrayed her as cold and unwelcoming to [his wife] Meghan Markle in his memoir, ‘Spare,’ when he painted an extremely damaging picture of the royal family,” Fitzwilliams said.
He continued, “The memoir is soon to be released in paperback and his allegations will surface again, though fortunately, he will not be adding to the volume or promoting it. He knows perfectly well how damaging it has been.”
Fitzwilliams emphasized that Kate is taking her return to royal duties at her own pace while prioritizing her health.

“We have recently seen encouraging signs of Catherine’s recovery,” he noted. “Her focus, as she has said, is being ‘cancer free.’ The Wales family has had a tremendously difficult year. She has finished her course of preventative chemotherapy. William, while carrying out some royal engagements, has been tremendously supportive… [But] Catherine will wish to avoid anything that promotes negative energy.”

Harry’s relationship with his family has been strained since he and Meghan stepped back from royal duties in 2020.
At the time, the couple cited intolerable media intrusion and racism from the British press as their reasons for leaving.
Since then, the Duke of Sussex has openly discussed his family tensions in interviews, a documentary, and his memoir.
In the book, Harry claimed that in 2019, William called Meghan “difficult” and “rude” during an argument, then grabbed him by the collar and knocked him down, causing Harry to suffer cuts after landing on a dog bowl.
Harry also recounted how Charles urged reconciliation between the brothers, particularly after Prince Philip’s 2021 funeral, pleading, “Please, boys, don’t make my final years a misery.”
Sources previously informed People Magazine that Harry’s efforts to reach out to his father, including calls and letters, have gone unanswered.
“He gets ‘unavailable right now,'” a friend of the duke told the news outlet. “His calls go unanswered. He has tried to reach out about the king’s health, but those calls go unanswered, too.”
In May, Harry could not meet with his father during his visit to the UK for the 10th anniversary celebration of the Invictus Games, an international competition he founded for veterans and wounded soldiers.
At the time, it was reported that the king was preoccupied with other matters, which was why a meeting could not be held. However, sources suggest there might have been more to the situation.

Harry had intended to discuss security arrangements for himself and his family, which were downgraded after he stepped down from his senior royal role. The king may have wanted to avoid the conversation, though the Palace has not yet commented on the security issue.
Kinsey Schofield, host of the “To Di For Daily” podcast, told Fox News Digital, “Catherine has pursued peace over the last year.”
However, she stated, “Harry and Meghan are not on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ radar right now. Catherine is focused on her health and family. Harry and Meghan’s relentless exploits are irrelevant to them at this point.”
“Prince William and Catherine will have to prepare for a complete shift from the privacy and intimacy of the life they’ve lived so far to William [eventually] ascending to the throne,” Schofield continued. “They are planning for things like how to navigate raising teenagers under that type of spotlight. How much access the world will have? How to protect their children.”

The royal expert added, “The bigger picture no longer includes Harry, and they are focused on keeping Catherine cancer-free, the future of their family, and the future of the crown.”
