An awkward minute of total silence followed, and eventually, Carrie opted to sing acapella, telling the crowd: “If you know the words, help me out here.”
And not everybody watching at home was impressed by the performance — including, it seems, Ariana Grande, who was caught liking a shady Instagram post about Carrie’s vocals.
Before long, Ariana — who regularly engages with Evan’s Instagram account — had openly liked the post, suggesting that she agreed with its sentiment.
