A$AP Rocky has lifted the lid on what he’s like as a parent after welcoming his third child with long-term partner Rihanna last year.
The rapper and Fenty Beauty founder welcomed a daughter on September 13, who they’ve named Rocki Irish Mayers.
Rocki has two older brothers: three-year-old RZA, and Riot, two.
While Rihanna and A$AP are often seen out in public together, they largely keep their relationship private and make few comments about their life together.
A$AP did tease an update on their marriage status last year, though.
In an interview with ELLE, he was asked about the fact that he always refers to Rih as his ‘wife’ and if they’re actually going to tie the knot anytime soon.

He coyly replied: “How you know I’m not already a husband?”
A$AP did say that even if they were already married or engaged, he’d never confirm it.
Now in a conversation with Popcast‘s Jon Caramanica and Joe Coscarelli following the release of his new album ‘Don’t Be Dumb’, A$AP spoke about his three kids with Rihanna and how they parent their brood.
The rapper was grilled about ‘who’s good cop and who’s bad cop’ and if they’re strict with their children.
“None of us have to be [strict],” he replied. “We are cool-ass parents.”
A$AP went on to say that he thinks he has turned out how he imagined he’d be as a dad, before RZA, Riot, and Rocki came a long.
Elsewhere, he spoke about his children’s unique personalities.
“You know, my first son, RZA, he’s just really like, he’s [the] opposite of his brother,” A$AP shared. “They’re about 14 months apart. So, they’re really close, but he’s really antisocial.”
He went on to say of Riot: “My second son is just a socialite at this point, you know? He wants to steal the room when he comes, and he walks in it, and he’s addicted to cotton candy, and he likes… typical little kid stuff.”
As for baby Rocki, he said that his newborn daughter is his ‘twin’.
“She looks exactly identical to me. My twin, bro,” he gushed about the tot.
A$AP also shared that he always wanted to have children and to be a parent, but he knew he had to be ‘careful’ about who he chose to have a baby with — and Rihanna turned out to be the perfect person.
