For months after the assassination of Charlie Kirk, the whereabouts of Lance Twiggs, the trans lover of Kirk’s alleged killer, Tyler Robinson, remained unknown, sparking widespread speculation among the public.
The young adult had suddenly disappeared from the St George residence in Utah that he shared with Robinson prior to Kirk’s assassination last September at a Turning Point USA event in Utah.
Now, the New York Post has obtained information that Twiggs left the state and fled to Texas, where he is currently living with his Mormon family.
Recent images taken of him at the location showed him wearing a Taco Bell T-shirt and appearing disheveled, with long, unkempt hair.

He reportedly now spends part of his days reading a fantasy novel, and was even seen with one in the captured photos. At other times, he plays video games and frequently runs errands for his parents, which appears to be the only occasion he leaves the house.

Amid initial questions about Twiggs’ whereabouts, reports emerged that authorities had removed the security detail that had initially been assigned to him following the Kirk incident.
The protection was originally put in place due to potential threats to Twiggs’ life, as he had, at the time, been cooperating with law enforcement.
The reason for the decision remains unclear, as the FBI has not provided a public explanation. However, it is likely that the protection was withdrawn because the agency determined there were no longer any credible threats against Twiggs.

Twiggs was not charged in connection with Kirk’s death, despite initially being considered a person of interest due to his relationship with Robinson and allegedly confessing to receiving a note from the suspect in which Robinson claimed to have killed Kirk.

Before becoming Robinson’s roommate and partner, Twiggs reportedly had a troubled childhood and was ultimately kicked out by his parents at the age of 18.
His challenging behavior appeared to persist even during the time he stayed with his grandparents following the estrangement from his parents.
Upon moving in with Robinson, the two seemingly bonded over shared “antisocial” traits, which appeared to stem from the unusual gaming lifestyle they both embraced.
“Being as antisocial as they were, from my understanding – you know, playing these games and being part of this, this Discord group … they didn’t seem like they were in a real world,” a relative of Twiggs told News Nation, per The Blast.
Twiggs’ relative further revealed that the pair did not previously have an “antisocial” habit.
The family source noted that Twiggs and Robinson were excelling in other areas before their supposed change in behavior.
“Both of them are super smart…[Lance] was a concert pianist – he has talent for piano. [His] music was off the charts – not normal, it was very impressive,” noted the family source.
“And that’s kind of what I heard about Tyler is that he was just so smart,” the insider further remarked.

Earlier in the month, attorneys for Robinson returned to court to continue their fight to have a prosecutor removed from the case due to an alleged bias.
The defense had argued previously that a conflict of interest may be involved due to an adult child of the prosecutor in question being present at Utah Valley University during Charlie Kirk’s assassination on September 10.
They maintained their stance during the February 3 hearing, which lasted several hours and also included arguments over whether the taking of recordings should be prohibited in the courtroom.
A decision on the potential disqualification of the prosecutors was not reached by Judge Tony Graf, but he indicated that a ruling would be made at the next hearing, scheduled for February 24 at 10 a.m.
The February 3 hearing had Robinson in attendance, alongside his parents, Matthew and Amber.
