British actor Noel Clarke has been arrested on suspicion of attempted rape, exposure and sexual assault by touching.
Reports say that the Doctor Who actor was questioned by authorities on Tuesday (10 February) and bailed pending further inquiries, two hours later.
Metropolitan Police stated that the arrest was related to a sexual offence which is alleged to have happened in 2007, involving a woman in her 20s in London.
The Sun reported that the 50-year-old arrived at Islington police station at 12.45 via appointment, along with his wife and lawyer, where he was questioned by detectives from the Met’s Central Specialist Crime Command.
Clarke has previously been arrested for a different alleged defence, as he was questioned over alleged voyeurism to another woman in her 20s, which reportedly took place in 2013, say The Daily Mail.

The Adulthood actor was apprehended at his Kensington home in September 2025 – an investigation into these claims is ongoing.
Clarke had previously sued the Guardian newspaper for libel after the publication reported allegations about his behaviour, a case which he lost in August last year.
He then declared bankruptcy over a £3 million legal bill.
It is reported that police officers were assessing evidence which had come to the fore during the Brit’s civil case against The Guardian.
Clarke has long denied the claims made against him, in a saga which has seen the actor’s career nosedive.
His outstanding British contribution to cinema honour from Bafta, as well as his membership, were suspended in April 2021.
Clarke is best known for his role as Mickey Smith on Doctor who from 2005 to 2006, starring alongside the likes of David Tennant and Billie Piper, making more appearances in 2008 and 2010.
He also wrote and starred in Kidulthood, with the independent film’s success resulting in two sequels being released over the years, Adulthood and Brotherhood, both of which he directed.
