Since late 2022, Kanye West, now known as Ye, has been married to Bianca Censori, an Australian artist and architect. And though we’ve certainly seen a lot of Bianca over the years, we’ve never actually heard her talk publicly — until now.
Marking her first-ever in-depth interview, Bianca recently sat down with Vanity Fair to talk about her career, her relationships, and to set the record straight on some misconceptions.
Starting from the top, the profile explains that Bianca and Ye met in 2020 when he discovered her work online and offered her a job as the “head of architecture” at Yeezy. Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Ye in February 2021, and, after this, Bianca explained that she and Ye fell in love through “proximity.”
“Just working together. You’re spending so much time with somebody. So we’d be either on the phone together or with each other all the time…We’re so similar,” she said, going on to talk about her position as a self-proclaimed “nepo wife” who is “famous by association.” “I didn’t marry my husband because I wanted some sort of platform. I married him because I love him. Is that like the corniest thing ever?”

He has denied the abuse claims, and in January 2026, he shared an open letter in the Wall Street Journal, apologizing for his antisemitic remarks and claiming that his bipolar disorder was the cause of his erratic behavior. “I regret and am deeply mortified by my actions in that state, and am committed to accountability, treatment, and meaningful change,” he wrote. “It does not excuse what I did, though. I am not a Nazi or an antisemite. I love Jewish people.”
Throughout all this, Bianca has never spoken out, which gave the impression to some that she possibly stood by her husband’s offensive views. When asked about this in her VF interview, Bianca said that she had a desire to publicly clarify her stance, but needed to prioritize Ye’s well-being, rather than the public’s perception of her.
“I wasn’t thinking about the PR cleanup. I was really focused on him and myself,” she said, clarifying that she is not antisemitic and thinks “the fact that antisemitism is mainstream is terrifying.” “In the back of my mind, I was like, Okay, eventually we’re going to have this conversation. I would have the opportunity to tell you that I’m not antisemitic.”
Following a particularly intense run of antisemitic remarks from Ye in February 2025, reports claimed that he and Bianca were getting divorced. And as recently as last month, insiders have claimed to People that “Bianca had been very unhappy in their marriage for a while” and has “tried to get out a number of times.” Speaking for herself, Bianca confirmed that there have been times when she felt she needed to leave the marriage, but now thinks that those feelings were just “surface level.”
“He met with a rabbi recently. You know, he has to go through his process in how he amends that, and I’m here to support and love and be with him. I love him so much. We’re like the same person,” she said of her husband, before apparently “tearing up.” “All I can do is always just be there and help. This year was a lot like doing CPR for months. I have the love and empathy for him to be able to do that, and I understand that the world doesn’t.”
Right before those divorce reports in February 2025, Ye and Bianca made headlines when she arrived at the Grammys wearing an entirely see-through mini dress with nothing underneath. This certainly wasn’t the first time she’d stepped out in an NSFW look; however, in light of her silence in the public eye, Bianca’s autonomy was brought into question, with people asking: Is Ye controlling her? Is she actually happy to do this?
To this concern, Bianca said: “I wouldn’t be doing something I didn’t want to do,” clarifying that her public nudity is very much her own choice. “Me and my husband would work on my outfits together,” she explained. “So it was like a collaboration, it was never ‘I was being told to do something.’…If you were married to Gianni Versace, wouldn’t he give you a dress or something?”
Amid all the online commentary around her revealing outfits, Bianca recalled only one occasion where she felt truly humiliated by media coverage of herself, citing the time that she and Ye were accused of engaging in a sexual act aboard a Venice water taxi in broad daylight. Denying that was the case, Bianca said, “It was the first time I was really embarrassed. I felt embarrassed because of my dad.”
Towards the end of the interview, Bianca revealed that she and Ye hope to have children, though she isn’t sure when is “the right time.” Ye already shares four kids — North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 6 — with Kim, who has publicly claimed that he isn’t very present in their lives. Bianca denied this, describing him as “a really awesome dad” who, like her, has concerns about his kids’ privacy in Los Angeles.
