Ever get the feeling that the cosmos is tossing you a juicy plot twist just when you thought you’d nailed the script? Well, this week’s celestial lineup—starting with Monday’s dramatic Leo Moon squaring off with Mercury’s Aquarius antics and cozying up to Chiron in Aries—promises exactly that kind of spicy cosmic drama. Ever wonder why some relationships feel like a high-stakes board game with power plays zigzagging everywhere? Horizontal or vertical, cooperative or competitive, this week challenges how we “play the game” both with ourselves and others—so, are you ready to read between the stars and maybe rewrite your own playbook? Buckle up, sweethearts, because it’s potent, it’s punchy, and yes, it hits the pain spots—but hey, who said growth didn’t come with a little drama? LEARN MORE
Monday’s Leo Moon opposes Mercury in Aquarius and trines Chiron in Aries as Mercury spends the day moving into exact sextile with Chiron. Be ready to jump on the meaning behind the mood and to keep the fire flowing. Whatever you’re hearing, whatever you’re giving out, keep an eye on the higher octave what it has to say about where you need to be.
The Leo Moon then moves on to square retro Taurus Uranus before the Moon moves into Mercury-ruled Virgo to oppose Pisces Pallas Athena. Progress doesn’t feel easy. Sometimes that friction is there to rub the edges off your resistance to change. Watch for the resultant flashes of recognition. Follow up with interest when you get something different than expected. “Why do you say that? What are you seeing?” Whether you’re in a mood to talk or to listen, being in conversation above the level of small talk pays off. It pays off in satisfaction, but it also improves your ability to move about the world of real life strife and people who are different than you.
Are you aware of the directions of relationships? Peer to peer relationships and those we see as being on the same level are horizontal. Competition on this level is often seen as collaborative or prosocial. It can be fierce, it can be fun. Those two things are not mutually exclusive. Vertical relationships are indicative of a power differential. Someone is above or below you: never at the same level. You can compete in two ways: overt flexing or covert fawning. Manipulation can be present with either of these directional types. Relationships can be healthy or dysfunctional on either of these axes.
You can see them as the two axes that intersect, but unlike others graphs, I don’t think there are four quadrants. I think you can have different types of relationships in different areas of your life or with different people. But where we judge success or health, is in how well the relationships work for the individuals AND for everyone as a group.
This week, we have Juno in Capricorn opposing retro Jupiter in Cancer. And we have the Moon and Chiron interacting in myriad points of constellation. The cardinality of Juno, Jupiter, and Chiron tips this into a level of serious assertion that it demands your attention. We like to think we know how others are playing the board. I posit that we don’t always know how WE are playing it. This week, pay attention to your own dynamic, the dynamic of others, and whether or not it FEELS healthy. Maybe tweak your usual actions to see how they hit.
This is POTENT, passionate, and will hit your pain spots; but if also offers a chance to upgrade and lock in. What you do with that is on you. You could learn a lot. You might have something to offer in teaching as well. That is the sweet spot. Watch out for hubris, jealousy, and possessiveness.
Tuesday, the Virgo Moon trines Juno then goes on to sextile retro Jupiter in the night. Mercury in Aquarius squares retro Uranus in Taurus through Thursday morning, so keep your senses and communication channels open, even if what you catch is jarring at first. Venus sextiles retro Chiron through end of day, so opportunity for mastery is palpable. Tuesday’s mood stands ready to organize and craft these threads into something stable and inspirational, something that truly brings the juice.
On Wednesday, the Virgo Moon trines retro Uranus, opposes Saturn in Pisces, then late night moves to Libra where it opposes Neptune in Aries. Mercury squares Uranus through the next morning, so keep it in mind that the data may arrive incomplete or disordered and keep an open mind. The mood for most of the day, however, facilitates this well. Stay grounded and let the individual pieces fly. You don’t have to nail anything down till it’s time to act. Even then, balance what you want with what works; leave room for a little magic.
Thursday’s Venus-ruled Libra Moon trines Pluto in Aquarius in the morning then trines Mars in Aquarius by night. What begins with a powerful thirst, winds up in inspired action. At this point, Aquarius Venus is moving into square with retro Uranus in Venus-ruled Taurus. What’s in it for me plays well with we’re all in this together because the diagram is a circle. Sometimes that circle is complicated by those bucking the system in another direction, but it sure makes it easy to figure out who’s going to help and who’s in the way. “In the way”, that doesn’t sound great… but it aids in shifting your route to the target.
Friday morning, Mercury leaves Aquarius for Pisces and sharing trails off into secrecy. However, it won’t announce as such. Assume that what you’re seeing is the surface, and that what you’re hearing is coming through deep water. Follow context clues, they contain more truth than usual.
Friday’s Libra Moon moves through a t-square, splitting the midpoint of the Juno-Jupiter opposition. By afternoon, the Moon heads into opposition with Chiron, making it a wide grand square. Watch for those horizontal/vertical interactions as bids for control come from all sides and others spin you up. HOWEVER, the Moon also trines the Aquarius Sun and then trines Venus, exact overnight. You have powerful agency when you play your OWN part and balance the equation by remaining above the fray. This works with the through-line of your own path, the one that makes YOU whole (as it also contains a component of the best interests of others).
