Apple Music removed a pop song from Holly Valance which had been released to promote a right-wing Australian politician’s movie.
Valance, who formerly appeared on Neighbours, released a cover of the song ‘Kiss Kiss’ as her debut single in 2002 which performed well, and years later a tune she made referencing it got taken off Apple Music.
She released the song ‘Kiss Kiss (XX) My Arse‘, which contained lyrics attacking ‘woke’ culture, the song opening with the words: “You will respect my pronouns.”
Elsewhere in the lyrics Valance sings about ‘a real diabolical lefty’ and ‘a real pathological snowflake’.
“We’ve got two dads on every TV ad. No-one wants a hetero cos they’re contraband. I don’t care what people say, I’ll never be a him or them or they,” also appear on the song, which released as part of the animated film A Super Progressive Movie.

The film comes from Australian politician Pauline Hanson, leader of the right-wing political party One Nation which the think tank Global Project Against Hate and Extremism once branded ‘a hate group’.
The politician said that Valance ‘instantly said yes’ when asked to provide a song for her movie, and took to social media to say that the pop star had enjoyed it.
“A massive shout out to Holly who I know watched the film last night and spat water across the room during one particular scene. Tells me the jokes landed really well,” Hanson wrote.
The song ended up going to the top of the charts in Australia, but according to the Metro it was removed from Apple Music yesterday (29 January) and people trying to search for it got the message: “The page you’re looking for can’t be found.”
Since the Valance has shared a message from Tommy Robinson and a tweet saying ‘can’t allow anything that goes against the woke mind virus’.

She also wrote: “As long as you’re keeping people dumbed down and numb you’re fine. Do not under any circumstance give right wingers a chance to have an opinion. Theirs don’t count. Ya Fascists!
“This is more than ‘a song with hurty words’ guys. Wake up.”
News.com.au has since reported that the song appears to have returned to Apple Music.
Valance went on The Kyle & Jackie O Show where she was asked if she was ‘personally devastated that the woke world has removed your song from iTunes’.
The singer replied by saying it was both because it had helped her in the end and claimed there was a lack of ‘brain cells’.
She said: “Yes and no, because it kind of helps you in the end and they don’t realise that. I guess not enough brain cells between them. But it’s helping me enormously so thank you so much.”
