Isn’t it wild how life—or maybe just Mercury finally moving out of retrograde—is throwing a cosmic curveball that’s got Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, two celebs who’ve been famously at odds for over a decade, rekindling their friendship? They went from besties to frenemies in a drama-filled saga that had us all spectatin’ back in the mid-2000s, exchanging public shade like it was an Olympic sport. But now, with both ladies embracing parenthood and leveling up emotionally (and probably astrologically), they’re setting aside the drama and making plans to bring their kids together. Could it be that the stars are finally aligned for peace, or maybe Paris just got tired of the drama? Whatever it is, it’s quite the plot twist—because when two icons like these decide to bury the hatchet, you know the universe is vibin’. LEARN MORE.

Hilton was recently a guest on Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live” together with her mother, Kathie Hilton, and aunt, Kyle Richards. During a segment, Cohen read a question a fan sent in asking whether or not the Hilton heiress has reconnected with Lohan since the latter’s return to acting.
Hilton smiled and responded that yes, they have been in contact. “We’re planning to get the kids together. I’m so happy for her. She is glowing. I love her,” she added.
Richards also shared that Lohan was “sweet” and sends her messages all the time.

The beef between the two women began in 2006, when rumors were circulating that Lohan was romantically involved with Hilton’s ex-boyfriend, Stavros Niarchos. They were then spotted outside a nightclub, allegedly arguing, and the public assumed it was because of Niarchos.
Days following the incident, a video circulated online where Hilton’s friend, Brandon Davis, made scathing remarks about Lohan while Hilton was talking with someone on the phone in the background. Despite denying that there was a love triangle, Lohan took a jab at Hilton by saying that she was “comfortable making videos,” alluding to the socialite’s sex tape that was leaked in 2004, per E! News.

In the years following, Hilton and Lohan became frenemies, at times calling each other friends, and at others throwing shade at each other.
In a 2019 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” Hilton played the game “Plead the Fifth,” where she was asked to say three nice things about Lohan. She responded, “She’s beyond… lame and embarrassing.”

In 2022, in yet another guest appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” Hilton revealed that she and Lohan had put their differences aside and no longer had beef with each other.
“I just feel that we’re grown-ups now. I’m married, she just got engaged. We’re not, like, in high school. I think it was very immature and now everything is all good,” she explained.
While on her honeymoon with husband Carter Reum, she saw news of Lohan’s engagement to financier Bader Shammas and sent her a congratulatory message. According to Hilton, that simple message broke the ice. “No bad vibes,” she added.

Hilton and her childhood best friend, Nicole Richie, once stopped talking to each other for a while. The two starred in the reality series “The Simple Life” from 2003 to 2007, but in the show’s fourth season, they filmed separately.
In an episode of the podcast “Call Her Daddy” in 2024, Hilton and Richie recalled that moment, with the latter saying that “nothing really happened” to cause the rift. Instead, Hilton explained that the media just loved pitting people against each other “because that sold tabloids.”
They were so young back then and admitted they weren’t the best at communicating, thus believing rumors to be true. Richie stressed the value of communication, which she said they’re better at now. “We didn’t have the communication skills we have right now to have check-ins, which is so important,” she shared.
