Rapper Ray J has said he ‘doesn’t have long left to live’ over his health issues.
Earlier this month, the ‘One Wish’ singer was rushed to hospital in Las Vegas after experiencing heart pain, as he was treated for a severe case of pneumonia. Afterwards, he said he had ‘just almost died’ and thanked his fans for their support as he told them he was ‘alive because of your prayers’.
The 45-year-old provided a health update to his fans where he said: “My heart’s only beating 25 percent, but as long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, everything will be all right.
“My health is not OK, so I thank everybody for supporting and praying for me through everything I’ve been in the hospital.”
Ray J thanked the people closest to him, who he credits with helping him ‘survive this’, and the rapper has struggled with pneumonia in the past.

However, in another video posted online, where he seemed a lot more downbeat, he told the camera ‘2027 is definitely a wrap for me’, telling the camera ‘that’s what they say’. However, he had a friend in the room who vociferously disagreed with this and said ‘f**k the doctor’.
Ray J said, ‘I shouldn’t have went this hard, bro’, but said that whatever happens to him over his health his nearest and dearest would be financially secure.
He said: “My baby mama gonna be straight, my kids gonna be straight, if they wanna spend all the money, they can spend it. I did my part here.
“And damn, when it’s all done, burn me, don’t bury me.”
Once again, his friend loudly protested that he was going to ‘live long to see your children grow up’, they also said anyone saying that Ray J didn’t have long to live could ‘go suck’, and that was as far as he got before the rapper cut him off.

Ray J also praised his parents and his sister Brandy, saying they were helping him with medical bills and doctor’s visits ‘for the rest of the year’.
Ray J isn’t a stranger to making headlines, with People reporting that the rapper was arrested in November last year, over allegations he pulled a gun on his ex-wife Princess Love.
That, and being the rapper who made a sex tape with Kim Kardashian – that was later made public – which she launched a lawsuit over.
He would later claim that Kim and her mother Kris Jenner had wanted the tape to be made public, claiming in 2022 that the tape was not leaked.
They are suing him as they allege he has a ‘reckless disregard for the truth’, while he has countersued them and claimed they breached a settlement over the sex tape.
