When Sun, Moon, and Mars Crash Scorpio’s Party: Childhood Pluto Transit Secrets That Will Blow Your Mind (and Possibly Your Childhood)

Added on January 21, 2026 inASTROLOGY CARDS

Ever wonder what happens when you mix a Gemini dad with a Sagittarius moon and an Aries Mars in the 9th house — basically someone who’s a walking, talking globetrotter — with a son who’s a double Scorpio Mars-sun-moon powerhouse, locked in a cosmic battle against Uranus and Saturn? Yeah, me neither, until one of my longtime clients came along with that exact celestial cocktail. Picture a kid whose childhood seemingly traps him in life-and-death dramas like it’s his daily special, thanks to a Pluto transit that’s less ‘light breeze’ and more ‘meteor storm.’ The dad’s hunting for reassurances, soaking up every bit of zodiac wisdom, while the little Scorpio is busy forging his character in what looks like a cosmic crucible. Crazy, intense, maybe even a little scary — but also kind of brilliant. What’s it like growing up under such a relentless starry pressure cooker? And if you’re a parent of one of these astrological anomalies, how do you even begin to breathe? Dive in, this story cuts deeper than any Scorpio sting — and hey, maybe it’ll change how you look at intensity in the stars and at home. LEARN MORE

scorpio paintingI have a long term client; he’s a Gemini with a Sagittarius moon. Mars in Aries in the 9th house. He’s open, upbeat and worldly. I’ve known him since he was a teenager  and he’s always wanted a family. He’s in his thirties now. He has a wife, a son and another baby on his way.

His son is a double Scorpio with Mars conjunct his sun and moon. This stellium opposes Uranus in Taurus and squares Saturn in Aquarius. It’s slamming, to be sure.  I’ve been trying to translate  this to the father since the baby was born.  This is not a “lofty” chart. Further, this boy’s childhood will be dominated by a Pluto transit.

The boy seemingly finds himself in intense, potentially life and death situations, as a matter of routine.  You can imagine what his parents go through. The father wants reassurance. Well…

I can say in all honesty, I think this boy will be fine. However, I do not think the extreme experiences are going to stop. Imagine having to say that to the parent. But this kid is singular. His character will be forged during these years.

Since the father understands different perspectives and can see an overview, I tried to explain, what he and his wife go through during these crises is different from what the boy experiences, internally.  The Scorpio is in the 6th house. I see a scientist or a doctor, a researcher of illness.  Someone who will cut the edge.  With a chart like this, he’s bound to have unusual experiences that allow his to develop himself and his innate gifts, talents, senses.

This is a difficult situation on it’s face. However, the father is into expanding, always. The son is seeding his process.

If your chart is similarly intense, what was your childhood like? If you are the parent of a child like that, what are your impressions?
