Hollywood star Jennifer Garner‘s sudden wardrobe makeover has been linked to her Hollywood ambitions.

The actress is said to be eager to land high-profile roles and hopes the change in her fashion style will serve as a reminder to showrunners that she still looks glamorous and camera-ready.

Jennifer Garner’s transformation is also believed to be influenced by her acting idols, who are unafraid to show some skin, as well as by her close friend Judy Greer.

The move has raised eyebrows among fans, with some claiming that she is “sexing up her image” and “going Hollywood again.”

Amid these speculations, insiders close to the actress have revealed the reason behind the wardrobe change, following years of Garner being known for her conservative style.

“Jennifer wants more high-profile film roles; she loves to work, so she figures dressing a little sexier and showing the world she still looks hot certainly can’t hurt,” a source told the Daily Mail.

According to the insider, the actress also only sees the switch as “a low-risk move,” which doesn’t indicate a complete change in her personality.

“She can look more fetching with sexier choices proving she is still a movie star while still making it appear tasteful,” the source further remarked about the actress.

Besides hoping that her shift in style will help her land more roles, Garner is reportedly also influenced by other actresses who wear similar outfits that feature less fabric.

“If her idols Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Hudson are wearing next-to-nothing and looking great in these get-ups, maybe she should do it too,” added the insider. “That is the thinking. Why not?”

The insider also stated that Garner has the “body for it,” seemingly referencing how the actress has donned very revealing outfits in past roles such as “Alias.”

Garner may also have been influenced by her best friend, actress Judy Greer, with whom she has shared the screen on a number of occasions.

“Judy is always pushing Jen to live it up more, you know, get out of the garden and into an LBD,” said the source.

It remains unclear how long this shift from Garner will last, but when given the choice, the actress appears to prefer dressing down.

In a 2019 interview with People Magazine, she revealed that her go-to outfit is jeans and sneakers rather than dresses.

“Every time I’m leaving town, I take all the clothes I never wear because you look through your closet and you think, ‘I love this. Why don’t I wear this? It’s such a pretty dress,” she shared at the time.

“But in reality, when I get there, I look for jeans and my sneakers. And I don’t know why I try to pretend like I’m suddenly going to be Dress Girl, because I’m not unless I’m put in it,” she added.

Even wearing makeup isn’t something she’s always keen on, nor is spending time styling her hair.

“I work out pretty hard, so I almost wash it every day,” the actress also shared with the outlet. “But I don’t like blow it out. I walk around with wet hair. But I just feel like, ‘I’ve showered! Don’t I get a gold star? What more do you want from me?'”

Garner has continued her trend of wearing more skin-revealing outfits since the start of the new year.

For her feature in Marie Claire UK last week, she wore a brown-colored tassel-designed skirt that highlighted her long, smooth legs.

The matching crop top also showed off much of Garner’s flat belly as she posed for the camera.

She also changed into a light blue trench coat that subtly spotlighted her legs through a flimsy, net-like attachment.

At the recent Golden Globes ceremony, Garner turned heads with her sizzling appearance.

The actress donned a semi-sheer black gown adorned with glittering embellishments, a departure from her modest past red-carpet looks.

The sleeveless design of the attire showcased her toned arms, while its sheer fabric offered glimpses of her chest and legs.
