But here’s the kicker: her dad, Mathew Knowles, insists that Queen Bey isn’t really chasing the money. Imagine that! In a world where dollar signs usually rule the day, Beyoncé’s motivating force seems to be her fans and pure passion for her craft—not her bank account. Either way, with her “Cowboy Carter” tour shattering records and her relentless work ethic, Beyoncé’s success story is about way more than mere moolah. Curious to dive deeper into how the BOSS turned hard work into a billion-dollar empire? LEARN MORE.
Beyoncé officially became the fifth billionaire musician in December 2025, but her dad, Mathew Knowles, said the singer is “not motivated [by] money.”
In a new interview, Mathew, who managed Beyoncé from the start of her career until 2011, said that his daughter’s riches resulted from her hard work, but becoming ultra-wealthy was never her priority.

According to an earlier report from The Blast, Beyoncé became a certified billionaire in December 2025. Forbes first reported the news, citing Beyoncé’s record-breaking “Cowboy Carter” tour, her Christmas Day Netflix halftime performance, and her lucrative collaboration with Levi’s.
Speaking with Page Six, Mathew reflected on his daughter’s latest milestone and said that the “BOSS” singer is “not motivated [by] money.” In fact, he suggested that money is one of the last things on the mother of three’s mind.
“I’ve never heard Beyoncé ever talk about money… It’s always been, ‘How can I make my fans happy? How can I be the best at what I’m doing?'” he said.

Mathew said that Beyoncé’s riches “came with her success.” However, it’s never been her primary goal.
Indeed, Beyoncé has had a storied career, debuting in the ’90s as part of the iconic girl group Destiny’s Child before launching her solo career, which generated international hits including “Crazy In Love” and “Single Ladies.”
In the summer of 2025, Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” tour became the highest-grossing country tour of all time after raking in nearly $408 million at the box office.
Throughout the show, Beyoncé set several records at different stadiums, including Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium and London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Beyoncé fans recently went after country singer Lainey Wilson for allegedly copying the singer’s Christmas Day look during her performance with Snoop Dogg on Netflix.
According to official images, Wilson wore an all-white, western-inspired ensemble for the special performance, similar to Beyoncé’s look the year before.
“So, once again… they copied Beyoncé,” one user wrote online. “Baby, I swear it’s deja vu,” another user said. “So, y’all copied and pasted last year’s performance? Got it…” a third posted.
Other users, however, rushed to Wilson’s defense, reminding the BeyHive that the “Heart Like A Truck” singer welcomed the Houston native’s foray into the genre following the release of “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages.”

“I love it,” Wilson said of Beyoncé’s music. “The more the merrier. I’m like, again, it’s about storytelling. It’s just about making people feel at home, and everybody wants to feel at home.”
“Hey, you know what? Everybody is going to have something to say about everything. I bet you wouldn’t say it to her face,” she added. “I love Beyoncé.”

The reported break-in occurred on July 8, according to Atlanta police. Law enforcement responded to Krog Street NE, where the alleged break-in took place in a parking garage, per The Blast.
Beyoncé’s recent appearance at the Formula One race in Las Vegas, Nevada, in November 2025, had the BeyHive buzzing! The “LEMONADE” singer arrived at the racing event sporting a custom Louis Vuitton jumpsuit that highlighted the 43-year-old’s figure.
Queen Bey uploaded a short clip of herself and champion Lewis Hamilton taking a “hot lap” around the track. She captioned the post, “Give it to Mama,” a nod to her 2006 sophomore album “B’Day.”
Beyond her fashion, fans couldn’t contain their excitement about Bey’s presence at F1 because they believed her attire was a hint at the upcoming third and final part of her three-act project.
“Act 3 begins. This is not a drill everyone. Beyoncé does NOTHING without intention. We. Are. About. To. Be. FED,” someone shared.
