Family feuds under the glow of a Mercury retrograde? Sounds about right! David Beckham, that dapper legend of football and style, apparently stretched out an olive branch to his eldest son Brooklyn amid what’s looking like an epic family standoff. But instead of a warm embrace, reports say he was met with the ultimate cold shoulder. You know, the kind that feels like a solar eclipse blocking out the sun on a perfect day. This whole rumpus supposedly sparked off around Brooklyn’s flashy 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz-Beckham—talk about a cosmic clash of billionaires and Beckham brood drama. While Brooklyn—our photographer-turned-chef star—seems caught in the eye of this generational storm, the rest of the family’s social media moves read like a soap opera script: unfollows, blocks, and even a ‘legal letter’ playing hardball. And yet, here we are, wondering if the stars will realign for the Beckhams or if this familial frostbite is here to stay. Curious for the juiciest details? LEARN MORE

David Beckham extended an olive branch to his eldest son Brooklyn amid the feud currently dividing the famous family, according to reports.

But the former Manchester United ace, 50, is said to have been given the cold shoulder in return.

The drama among the high-profile brood reportedly dates back to Brooklyn‘s 2022 wedding to billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz-Beckham.

The photographer and aspiring chef, 26, is alleged to have found himself stuck in the middle of the feud.

Fans of the Beckhams began to notice that Brooklyn and Nicola were noticeably absent from a string of major events – including David’s 50th birthday bash.

Cruz and Romeo then unfollowed their big brother on social media, before it all hit the fan last month when it emerged that Brooklyn had apparently blocked his parents and siblings on Instagram.

And this week, it was reported that the Beckham’s firstborn sent a ‘legal letter’ to David and Victoria, which insisted they only get in touch with him via his lawyer.

And as his Spice Girl mum previously liked an Instagram video he shared, which detailed a chicken recipe, she is said to have violated the terms laid out by Brooklyn.

Sources claim that this is what prompted him to block his relatives on social media.

Now, it has been alleged that Brooklyn’s dad reached out to him over the festive period in the hopes of smoothing things over, only to be snubbed once again.

According to The Sun, insiders claim that David invited Brooklyn to attend his knighthood back in November, along with the rest of the family.

At the time, the former midfielder said receiving the honour from King Charles was the ‘proudest moment’ of his life.

The publication alleges that the invitation was also extended to Brooklyn’s wife Nicola, 30, with the Beckhams offering to host her at an evening dinner where they celebrated David becoming a ‘Sir’.

However, the report claims that Brooklyn believed the request for them to attend the pivotal event was merely a bid to keep up appearances, as well as being another example of his parents ‘gaslighting’ him.

It goes on to state that David and Victoria have tried to contact their son via text message, suggesting a ‘private reconciliation’ could forge a path of peace.

However, it is understood that these messages have gone unanswered.

Despite seemingly cutting off most of his nearest and dearest, Brooklyn is said to have been in cahoots with his beloved grandparents over Christmas.

Although he was in the States with his in-laws for the festive season, he has reportedly been chatting to David’s parents, Ted and Sandra, as well as Victoria’s mum and dad, Tony and Jackie, over the phone.

A source claimed he ‘adores’ the four of them and ‘knows how much pain this is causing everyone’, which is why Brooklyn ‘reached out in his own time’.

“[He] tried to keep it low-key so as not to drag them into it,” the insider said. “Brooklyn is navigating this soul-crushing family feud as best he can but it isn’t easy on anyone. Nicola remains his absolute rock.”
