Lori Loughlin‘s eyes are stuck on the prize amid her marriage troubles.

The actress made her first public appearance at the panel discussion for the Hallmark Christmas Experience event since calling it quits with Mossimo Giannulli.

Lori Loughlin and her American fashion designer ex reportedly quietly separated after about three decades, although no legal divorce has been filed yet.

The 61-year-old, on Friday, hopped on the stage to join her “When Calls the Heart” co-stars for a Q&A session, which was also an avenue for her pals to announce her return to television after nearly a decade away.

The actress dazzled in a white pin stripe blazer paired with flared pants and a cashmere turtleneck sweater for the appearance, paired with her short auburn hair.

Actress Erin Krakow did the honors of announcing Loughlin’s presence by sharing that she would be a part of the cast for its 14th season run on television.

According to The Daily Mail, Loughlin reacted to the news, describing it as an amazing one and revealing that Krakow had put great effort behind the scenes to ensure her comeback.

The actress continued that she only discovered about a month or two ago, stating, “And I just want to thank everyone at Hallmark for being so loving and so welcoming. And this just feels incredible.”

Loughlin’s appearance emerged two months after her representative confirmed that they were indeed separated, but no formal divorce documents have been signed. Earlier in the year, the duo had disposed of their Hidden Hills marital home for $16.5 million, causing several speculations.

The representative for Loughlin also confirmed in October that they were living separately, and no legal proceeding had begun. The actress was also spotted on several occasions without a wedding ring on her finger.

An insider noted that the former couple has really gone through tough times behind the scenes, due to their incarceration and the college admission scandal. Hence, the separation did not come as a shock to several people in their close circle.

Reports from within affirmed that the actress did not just throw in the towel overnight, and she actually fought for the stability of her marriage to the designer. The Blast shared that Loughlin reportedly went to her ex’s favorite strip club to do a follow-up on his activities with the dancers.

The family friend who spilled the tea stated that she embarked on this mission to understand him more and effectively sort out their issues, which began way before the college admission scandal hit the final nail in the coffin.

Giannulli was reportedly a regular at the Skin on Robertson club in Los Angeles for years, and his estranged wife “ended up going down there to talk to the women and find out what he was doing … she actually sat down with the strippers.”

Another insider shared that Giannulli bore strong reservations towards his ex’s close friendship with her “Full House” co-star, Stamos. As noted by The Blast, Loughlin and Stamos became inseparable after they started on the 80s ABC sitcom as love interests.

Giannulli, in the end, seemingly found the friendship unbearable and too close for comfort and was convinced there were several undertones to the relationship.

“But Mossimo never believed it was just acting. He thought John’s charm didn’t stop when the cameras did,” the source stated. Sometimes, the designer’s emotions about Stamos would come to the fore, although it remained controlled and never escalated to a physical confrontation.

Loughlin’s eyes would reportedly light up whenever Stamos walked into the room, and Giannulli would reportedly see it as competition for his ex’s affection.

As 2025 began, the actress reportedly took stock of her past experiences and how they have shaped her journey moving forward.

After serving time for her role in the 2019 admission scandal, Loughlin acknowledged that it was the start of a new chapter for her life where she is transformed and rebuilt with a sense of gratitude and purpose.

An insider claimed that the actress did a lot of soul searching after the scandal and the “hellish time” represented a learning experience more than anything. The actress also regrets her role in $500,000 college admission bribery scandal and wishes she could take everything back.

She has now put that aside, well behind her, and regained a fresh outlook on life where nothing is taken for granted and a second chance is met with genuine appreciation.
