Apple Music has unveiled its year-end wrap up, Replay ‘25, along with its top songs of the year lists Tuesday.
The streaming platform elevated its year-end experience for users, seemingly looking to compete against Spotify’s yearly Wrapped feature. Since last year, the feature has been available natively in the Apple Music app. This year, Apple introduced more sharable designs for social media, while musicians can also share stats on their own listenership too.
Rosé’s smash hit “Apt” with Bruno Mars topped Apple Music’s top 100 global songs of 2025. The Blackpink singer’s song also topped Apple Music’s global most read lyrics and fitness year-end lists; it also landed at No. 1 on the Shazam top 100 global and top 100 global radio charts. Apple Music asserted that 2025 undoubtedly belonged the Rosé and Bruno Mars hit in a release.
Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “Luther,” Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With a Smile,” Lamar’s “Not Like Us” and Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather” rounded out the top five spots. Morgan Wallen led all artists with 12 songs in the top 100 global songs — his highest charting song “I’m The Problem” sits at No. 18. Lamar appeared nine times on the top 100 global songs between his own songs and features; he and SZA had two spots in the top 10 with her single “30 For 30” taking the last spot.
KPop Demon Hunters also had a strong showing on Apple Music’s year-end top songs chart. Huntrix — the film’s girl group comprised of singers EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami — charted the highest, with the breakout hit “Golden” landing at No. 15 on the top global songs chart and No. 4 on the top lyrics and top sing charts. The song spent 70 consecutive days atop Apple Music’s daily top 100 chart, according to a release.
Gracie Abrams, Alex Warren and Tyler, The Creator — the latter Apple Music’s 2025 artist of the year — made their first appearance on the chart at No. 6, No. 7 and No. 18, respectively. Drake appeared eight times top 100 global songs chart between his own songs and features. Sabrina Carpenter had five songs on the chart, with “Espresso” charting the highest at No. 16.
Rosé’s fellow Blackpink member Jennie also landed on the Apple Music top 100 global songs of 2025 chart at No. 62 with her solo hit, “Like Jennie.” Girl group Aespa was the only K-pop group to make the top 100 — the group’s hit “Whiplash” landed at No. 33.
With Replay ‘25 users can revisit new artists they discovered, the artists they’ve remained loyal to and artists who had made a comeback to their rotation, along with total minutes listened, total artists listened, longest artist streak, favorite genres and more. On the artist side, new metrics available on Replay ‘25 include listenership growth and year-over-year performance summaries.
