Exclusive: Police Drop Jaw-Dropping Clue on D4vd’s Role After Teen Found in Tesla Trunk—Is This a Cosmic Crime Scene or Just Bad Karma?

So, here’s something that seriously makes you wonder—when the stars align in mysterious ways, do they also whisper secrets we’re too scared to hear? In a grim, almost surreal twist, the LAPD revealed an unsettling update about 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose remains were found tucked away in the front trunk of singer-songwriter D4vd’s Tesla, parked abandoned in the Hollywood Hills. Celeste vanished back in April 2024, a small-town girl from Lake Elsinore, and now faces a haunting postscript to her story. The singer, known legally as David Burke, was initially not a suspect, but recent developments have painted a darker portrait, with allegations hinting at possible involvement and even assistance in the grim task of dismembering and disposing of the body. It’s all wrapped in an eerie coincidence too—the ‘Shhh’ tattoo found on Celeste’s finger strikingly mirrors D4vd’s own, almost like stars crossing paths in a doomed constellation. And while fans sift through his music for clues, trying to decode what might be confessions cloaked in melody, the case unfolds with a cautionary reminder: sometimes the cosmos just sets the stage, but it’s human hands that write the drama. A Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) source who reportedly has direct knowledge of the investigation has provided a shocking update on the death of a 15-year-old girl found in D4vd’s Tesla in September.

Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s remains were discovered in the front boot of a Tesla impounded at a Los Angeles tow yard on 8 September. The vehicle was taken to the lot after being reported abandoned in the Hollywood Hills for over a month.

Hernandez, from Lake Elsinore in California, was 13 when she went missing, and was last seen on 5 April 2024 in the western Riverside County community, according to a missing person flyer.

LAPD Captain Scot M. Williams told People in September that they had yet to ‘determine a cause or manner of her death’.

At the time, the singer-songwriter, 20, was not named as a suspect and has not been charged with any crime.

However, in the latest developments, D4vd has reportedly been identified as a suspect in the case, according to an LAPD source.

The source told NBC4 Investigates that the ‘Romantic Homicide’ hitmaker has allegedly not been cooperating in the police investigation.

They further alleged that D4vd – whose real name is David Burke – ‘may have had help in dismembering and disposing of the body’ in the Spring.

Hernandez’s brother, Matthew Rivas, told NBCLA in September that family members living in Lake Elsinore were allegedly aware that she knew D4vd.

Rivas further claimed that she was on her way to see a movie with the singer, but never returned.

Also, the Los Angeles County medical examiner said that Hernandez allegedly had a similar-looking ‘Shhh’ tattoo on her right index finger to the one the New York-born artist has, as reported by the Los Angeles Times.

It comes after commanding officer Williams previously confirmed that ‘we know for sure that Celeste Rivas Hernandez died and someone placed her body in the front trunk area of David Burke’s [D4vd’s legal name] Tesla’.

Since news of the case broke out, fans have been dissecting the lyrics of his songs, which were reportedly ‘leaked’ and uploaded to SoundCloud, and according to The Sun, one is titled ‘Celeste’.

But Williams cautioned: “As far as their relationship, it would be premature for me to say anything.”

A spokesperson for D4vd, who was on tour when the girl’s remains were found, said at the time: “D4vd has been informed about what’s happened.

“And, although he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities.”

LADbible Group has contacted D4vd’s representatives and the LAPD for comment.
