If you are anything like my father and me, then you love Christmas music. I genuinely get it stuck in my head alllll year long. I am constantly, annoyingly, and often subconsciously singing “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.” I swear that song is 10% of my brain — that is how frequently I am humming it.
And although I am not someone who sets up their tree on November 1st, I am definitely the person who is soooo ready for Christmas music and festive Starbucks drinks the moment that November hits. And even if you’re not like me, with holiday songs blasting in every store by early November, I bet you know more Christmas lyrics than you realize.
So, it’s time to put your Christmas music knowledge to the test! Here’s how it works: I’ll give you one of the opening lyrics from a famous Christmas song or carol, and you tell me the title of the song. Think you can do it? Let’s find out.
How’d you do? Tell me in the comments. And while you’re there, tell me your least favourite Christmas song. You know, the one that makes you want to change the radio channel when it plays. Mine is “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus.” The sentiment is cute. But the voice is just grating to me.
