The Scorpio Sun spends the week in square to Pallas Athena in Aquarius, and Mercury runs the show as it skims through Scorpio with Mars as its motor. Whatever you expected, whatever usually happens this time of year, spooky time spooks differently this week.

Mercury and Mars trine retro Neptune and retro Saturn in Pisces and all four trine Jupiter in Cancer: a grand trine in water. The dynamic duo of Mercury-Mars in Scorpio carries buddy-movie mojo and these trines enhance their skillful/clever energy. If you’ve got secrets, now is the time to transmute them into something supportive and life-affirming, something useful. Take out the psychic garbage and put yourself right with your own words and actions. Experiment and turn old wisdom on its ear. See things another way and clock new patterns.

Jupiter amplifies but it also applies humor. This is the perfect counterpoint to any shame narrative you’re getting bogged down in. Whatever you used to hide? Address it and turn it into something that serves you. This sort of grand trine is crazy protective if you’re willing to work with it to shift perspective and meaning. It’s okay if it’s fun too. This time will GO QUICKLY, so get in there and work some magic. If you need to shift a mood, get your body and mind moving on a task.

Monday’s Saturn-ruled Capricorn Moon spends the day moving into square with Venus in its own rule in Libra. Both cardinal, there’s something to start here, but mood and desire are in conflict. Just start, the variables are all in place to sort it out as you go.

On Tuesday, the Capricorn Moon marches through a square to retro Aries Chiron and an opposition to Jupiter in Cancer, highlighting their long-term square and creating a moody t-square. The awareness of ongoing problems or issues is a drag on momentum, but again, the grand trine in water makes this a brighter scenario. Take responsibility for improving the situation.

Afternoon into evening into nighttime, the Cap Moon forms the tail of a kite with the grand trine then moves to Aquarius to trine retro Uranus in Gemini and conjoin Pluto. Moon opposite Jupiter, sextile Mercury-Mars/Saturn-Neptune stabilizes the push-pull intensity and moderates mind-body acceleration. It’s a great time to start a project or jump into an old project and get it on an even keel.

Early Wednesday, Mars perfects its trine to retro Saturn as Mercury perfects its trine to retro Neptune. Mercury then moves to Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius. It opposes retro Uranus and sextiles Pluto in Uranus-ruled Aquarius (exact Thursday afternoon). The Aquarius Moon squares the Scorpio Sun, both fixed. The Moon then conjoins Pallas Athena and sextiles Juno in Sadge. SO, a breezy mood facilitates leaping over agitation and firing up the planning. This means fielding unexpected outside ideas and putting them through their paces. What works? What doesn’t? We can quickly move from one to the next, and upgrade the plan on the GO.

Thursday’s Aquarius Moon trines Venus: hallelujah! That a breath of unexpected fresh air. It goes on to sextile retro Chiron and square Mars. This is the moment to drag out the things that aren’t working and do the “does this spark joy?” thing. Why? Because detachment is your friend here. It’s possible to clear up tangles by being ruthless, and it doesn’t hurt as much as it might normally. Venus is heading into orb of a t-square with that Jupiter-Chiron square as well, and handling old issues makes room for new developments. If you want more, you’ll likely need to clear space. A big heart finds this tough.

On Friday, the Moon moves to Neptune-ruled Pisces and straight into a t-square with retro Gemini Uranus and Gemini-ruler Mercury in Sadge. Options. You have options. OH GREAT! A Neptoony mood can collapse under too many options too fast. Once again, lean on the grand water trine and meter that flow by just getting started and do it one bit at a time.

Evening takes the Pisces Moon into trine with the Scorpio Sun. Whether or not your life is smooth sailing, the collective mood is not the problem. If you’re feeling the need to recede, you can lean on the stamina of powering through or elevate yourself out of view altogether and CHILL. Dressing up is not just good fun; there’s a bit of a spell of glamour to fascinate and fool your admirers, followers, and fellow revelers. Bewitch them if you please.

Friday night is Halloween. Do you have any Halloween plans? What is or would be your ideal costume?
