K-Pop Demon Hunters Unleash a “Golden” Secret on Fallon—Fans Left Guessing What’s Next!

Added on October 8, 2025 inMusic News Cards

Is the Moon in Aquarius making everyone wild, or is the universe just obsessed with K-pop? I can’t decide which is brighter this week: the Leo Sun or the glimmering stardom of EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami. Picture it—The Tonight Show stage bathed in gold, our favorite Huntrix stars belting out “Golden” (that song still echoing in my head… send help!) with the kind of infectious energy that makes even Mercury retrograde seem like a background dancer. Seriously, when Netflix’s latest animated phenom collides with live TV and an SNL cameo, are we living in a simulation or just in the best timeline? And let’s just admit it—we all want to know what’s sparklier, a Billboard No. 1 or Rei Ami’s earrings. I’ve been low-key manifesting this crossover for weeks, and, as a Scorpio, my intuition is almost as on point as their harmonies . Want the inside scoop and a peek at the dazzling triumph on Fallon’s couch? LEARN MORE.

The Tonight Show went “Golden” on Tuesday night when EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami performed their hit song from KPop Demon Hunters.

The singers behind Huntrix, the group at the center of Netflix‘s blockbuster movie, performed their first full-length live rendition of the chart-topping single on Jimmy Fallon‘s late night show and then took the couch to be interviewed by the host.

The Tonight Show performance follows the trio’s first-ever live performance of parts of “Golden” during a KPop Demon Hunters-themed skit on this past weekend’s Saturday Night Live.

EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami voice the characters of Rumi, Zoey and Mira, respectively, in the Netflix and Sony Animation movie directed by Chris Appelhans and Maggie Kang that has become the streamer’s most popular title ever. The movie follows the adventures of K-pop girl group Huntrix and the three members who happen to also fight monsters from the underworld.

KPop Demon Hunters‘ success has been a surprise for the streamer. The soundtrack has spent eight weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart, reaching No. 1. And Netflix and Sony Animation are in talks for a sequel, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
