A large study of 6 millions couples, across different cultures, found that partners often the same psychological problems aka “Birds of a feather flock together”. Conditions analyzed included depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, bipolar disorder, OCD, anorexia, schizophrenia, and substance use disorder. 

Specifically, a person has higher likelihood of marrying someone with the same or a similar psychiatric disorder than they did of marrying someone who isn’t diagnosed with one.
