Back in 2023, Paltrow sat down with Glamour to share her view about aging in Hollywood.
When asked about how she tunes out the pressure on women to age the “right way,” the Goop founder explained that she chooses to follow her “own path.”
She stressed that she believes women should have the freedom to age however they like.
“I’m that type of person. And I really believe that, first of all, every woman should be able to age or not age exactly the way she wants to do it,” Platrow said.

Regarding the issue of aging, the actress noted that she doesn’t think “people should judge women in general for that kind of thing.”
“Sometimes people say to me, ‘Oh my gosh, so-and-so looks overdone.’ I’m like, ‘But if she’s happy with that, then that’s great!’ There’s no need to be negative about another choice that a woman makes,” Paltrow stated.
Speaking further on the topic, Paltrow shared she wants to “age as beautifully as I can” and isn’t “afraid of wrinkles.”
“I’m not afraid of those things that come with aging, I’m really not,” she continued.

At the NYFW, Paltrow soft-launched her latest venture, Gwyn, a fashion line that focuses on timeless wardrobe-building pieces, including pea coats, pleated dresses, denim shirts, leather skirts, and tailored pants.
The Goop founder also sat down with Vogue, where she shared insights into the inspiration behind her debut collection.
“We wanted to bring it more into the fashion conversation without being alienating or too avant-garde. But a little more international, a little less California,” she told the outlet.
“We recently upgraded our whole site and did a big refresh, and I thought to myself, this is really the time to make the change,” Paltrow added, seemingly hinting that she had phased out Goop’s nine-year-old fashion line G. Label for Gywn.
During the conversation, Paltrow also talked about how launching the brand was part of her desire to make the most of the time she spends on the fashion side of her business.
“This part of the business is extremely personal to me. I spend the most creative time on this part of the business, and I wanted it to feel more reflective of that,” Paltrow further remarked.
