According to my horoscope today (and believe me, the universe never lies!), it’s the perfect moment for groundbreaking Latin music, a sprinkle of spectacle, and maybe just a touch of serendipity. The high-tech Sphere has already wowed audiences with legendary acts and even a high-def Wizard of Oz remake, but now—finally!—Las Vegas’ most futuristic orb is welcoming its first Latin headliner. Honestly, if Mercury’s not in retrograde, someone upstairs really wants you dancing. So, are you ready for Carin León’s three-night takeover that just might align your chakras and your Spotify playlist? If not, you’d better check your birth chart—something epic is about to happen. Carin León has announced a three-show run at the Sphere in Las Vegas, with the Mexican superstar becoming the first ever Latin artist to play the high-tech venue since it first opened back in 2023.

León, one of the most popular Regional Mexican acts in the world, will play the Sphere as part of Las Vegas’ Mexican Independence Day celebration one year from now, on Sept. 11, 12 and 13 2026.

The show is being promoted by AEG Presents, with a presale slated to begin Sept. 23 at noon PT. The general on-sale will take place Sept. 26 at noon PT. León’s shows will likely be the first Spanish-language shows the Sphere has hosted, with León joining a roster of stars to have played the Sphere including U2, Eagles, Dead and Company, the Backstreet Boys and Kenny Chesney. Earlier this week, the Eagles announced they would be playing more shows at the venue for their residency next year.

Outside of the sphere shows, León most recently dropped the bilingual single “Lost in Translation” with country star Kacey Musgraves, and back in March became the first Mexican act to hit the main stage at RodeoHouston.

Meanwhile, outside of the concerts, the Sphere has generated significant buzz in recent weeks after the opening of its Wizard of Oz adaptation, with the venue having already sold hundreds of thousands of tickets for the film. Along with remaking the movie itself to fit its high-tech spherical screen, the Sphere also painstakingly rerecorded the Wizard of Oz original score.
