Ever wonder if Mercury retrograde could mess with rhymes, or if Eminem’s lyrical mojo defies cosmic chaos? Because here’s the thing — the dude just took on a challenge most mortals wouldn’t touch with a ten-foot pole: rhyming the so-called “un-rhymable” word silver. Earlier this week, a trusty old source claimed no English word rhymes with it, sparking a poetic showdown worthy of a celestial spectacle. Enter Eminem, the rap maestro who’s made the impossible his playground (remember his epic feat with “orange”?). Tagged and taunted, given 24 hours — and yeah, he was fashionably late — Marshall Mathers still spun a mind-boggling string of rhymes that sound like gibberish until you hear it with his inimitable flow. It’s like watching the cosmos align in verse, reminding us that even now, amid grandfatherhood and Netflix cameos, this Rap God’s got more linguistic magic than a Mercury-Uranus aspect on steroids. Ready to see how he turned “silver” into pure gold? LEARN MORE.
Eminem isn’t one to back down from a challenge, even if it’s presumed to be an impossible feat by the average person.
So, when he was asked to achieve the unthinkable by finding something that rhymes with the word ‘silver’, we should have never doubted him.
Earlier this week, good old Uber Facts – yes, the page is still knocking about – shared a post on X claiming that ‘there’s no word in English that rhymes with silver.’
LL Cool J’s brand Rock The Bells then responded to the post with a reminder that the Rap God still exists and is more than partial to a rhyming challenge.
I mean, how can we forget how what he did with the supposedly un-rhymable word ‘orange’?
Anyway, Rock The Bells tagged Eminem in the post and said he had 24 hours to come up with a response.

The rapper, real name Marshall Mathers, did miss that deadline by a few hours – however, he did manage to come up with an incredible response.
On Wednesday (13 August), he shared his reply to the rhyming challenge in another post on X.
At first glance, it looks like gibberish – but when you imagine Eminem uttering it, somehow, it works.
He wrote: “Silver pilfer kill fer Gilbert’s still hurts steel shirts Bill Burr milf word off kilter no filter chill brrrr feel burn still slur will stir Trent dilfer Val kilmer Still third shield her he’ll squirt Steven Spielberg Lil twerp Wilshire She’ll purr Kill birds milk curd feel worth Real nerd Stans documentary I liked your film sir.”
Someone get that guy back in the studio, ASAP.
Social media users seemed very impressed with Eminem’s efforts, with one hailing him as a ‘walking dictionary.’
His hilarious response went viral (X)
Another said: “And that’s why he’s the GOAT.”
A third added: “Eminem can make any word rhyme with any other word.”
A fourth wrote: “I read this and heard Eminem saying the words.”
While a fifth joked: “It’s like he just hit the predictive text and it just worked omfg.”
Even though he’s now a grandfather, the hit tweet proved that Eminem has still got it.
His daughter Hailie Jade, 29, welcomed her first child with her husband Evan McClintock in April this year.
Sweetly, the couple paid homage to the music star by naming their little one Elliot Marshall McClintock.
Fans have also just enjoyed Eminem’s presence on our screens following the debut of Happy Gilmore 2 on Netflix.
