Do we have our first official reported celeb entanglement of July 2025? It seems that we do — and this time, it involves the always-beloved actor Anna Kendrick.
The last time we had significant relationship news involving Anna, it was back around this time in 2022 when she parted ways with Bill Hader after roughly a year of dating.
Now, People reports that Anna is allegedly dating comedian Alex Edelman — and it sounds like it’s going quite well so far.
A source tells the publication that the pair have been allegedly “dating for several months.” They’ve also been photographed together, although seemingly not by choice.

“It doesn’t seem casual,” the source told the publication, adding that Anna has allegedly met Alex’s mom and that they celebrated his birthday together earlier this year. “Anna’s very private, though. They enjoy date night at lowkey restaurants that are not your typical celeb hangouts.”
And that penchant for privacy means we probably won’t hear anything suuuuper official on this for a while — but, just in case, we’ve reached out to Alex and Anna’s reps for further comment and will let you know if we hear back.
