Caitlyn Jenner isn’t ready to address the painful exit of her manager and best pal, Sophia Hutchins, just yet.

Following the devastating accident, Jenner was seen running errands in Malibu, looking somber in her first public outing.
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star was dressed in a blue shirt paired with denim shorts and grey sneakers as she stepped out to get coffee. The grieving star hid her eyes behind a pair of sunglasses but interacted with photographers waiting close by.
While speaking to the Daily Mail, the heartbroken reality star revealed she was going through “tough times” amid Hutchins’ death. When pressed to speak more about the tragedy, Jenner blatantly said, “I don’t want to talk.” Afterward, she retreated to her Malibu mansion.
The reality star’s appearance comes after Hutchins lost her life when her ATV was involved in a deadly collision with a moving vehicle.

The impact of the collision threw the quad bike off the road, causing it to fall approximately 350 feet into a ravine. Hutchins, who reportedly lost control, plunged to her demise.
Emergency services arrived on the scene and pronounced her dead. However, the other two passengers involved remained uninjured. Photographs from the accident site show the tumbled blue quad bike resting on an upside-down vehicle that had previously crashed in the same spot.
The windscreen was dislodged, and the right side was dented. Hutchins was only 29 years old.

Despite the 46-year age gap between Hutchins and Jenner, the pair had an undeniable bond that even sparked rumors of a romantic relationship.
The duo first met in 2015, shortly after the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star came out as transgender, through a mutual hairstylist.
“We met through our hairstylists. He was doing my hair one day and was like, ‘I’m going to a photoshoot after this, something with Caitlyn and MAC. And Caitlyn would like to meet you,” the late manager said of their interaction.
Their relationship progressed fast, and two years later, Hutchins moved into Jenner’s Malibu home and began working as the Republican’s manager. The duo soon began walking the red carpet, raising eyebrows.

With several public appearances of Hutchins and Jenner, it didn’t take long for fans to question if they were dating.
However, the deceased manager shut down the speculations in a 2018 interview with The New Times, saying, “they were never romantically involved.” Hutchins instead described the older LGBTQ+ activist as a parent figure.
“Caitlyn is a parent to me. I have said that a million times. It is a parental, familial relationship.”
Hutchins, who was also transgender, said in a separate interview, “I wouldn’t describe it as a romantic relationship. I would describe our relationship as we’re partners. We’re business partners … We have so much in common.”

She also spoke about having a close relationship with the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, citing Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, as well as Kylie and Kendall Jenner, as her closest family members.
Over the Fourth of July weekend, the 75-year-old was seen out and about with her deceased manager’s mother. Jenner walked ahead of the grieving mom as they stepped out for errands in Malibu.
While the reality star wore a long-sleeved blue T-shirt with grey pants and a visor, Hutchins’ mom wore a long-sleeved green T-shirt and knee-length white shorts.
Although the duo looked somber, it appears they are helping each other cope with the devastating loss of their beloved manager.
