Months after Giuffre shockingly took her own life, excerpts from her secret diary have emerged, where she detailed aspects of her traumatic marriage to her estranged husband, Robert.

One of the entries hinted that their marriage began to falter after she spoke out about being sex trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators and being allegedly sexually assaulted by Prince Andrew.

In it, she claimed that “the stronger” she became, the “scarier” her estranged husband grew. And when she began advocating for victims like herself, the situation worsened, as he became increasingly jealous.

“Instead of praising his wife’s accomplishments, he began to be jealous, trying to make me stop advocating for victims of trafficking,” the excerpt read, per The Times.

In other excerpts, Giuffre also accused Robert of being “emotionally and physically controlling” and that she noticed “increased signs of possessiveness” from Robert towards her.

One of the ways he reportedly expressed this controlling behavior was by telling her that his friends wanted to have sex with her and by banning her from coming downstairs whenever there were male guests in the house.

“I became a prisoner,” she wrote further about the experience.

Details about Robert’s alleged mistreatment of Giuffre first emerged when the sex trafficking victim advocate talked about it in an interview with People Magazine months before her death.

“I was able to fight back against Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein, who abused and trafficked me,” the 41-year-old wrote at the time.

She added, “But I was unable to escape the domestic violence in my marriage until recently. After my husband’s latest physical assault, I can no longer stay silent.”

“Again, I thank everyone for their support. I have faith that justice will prevail,” she concluded.

At the time, Giuffre’s loved ones publicly supported her shocking remarks, with her brother, Sky, alleging that the abuse had been ongoing for 10 years.

In the days after Giuffre’s suicide, reports also surfaced that she was “extremely distressed” over possibly losing the massive payout she received from Prince Andrew in a defamation case she was embroiled in.

The case was against artist Rina Oh, who claimed that she had been falsely accused by the mother of three of being Epstein’s girlfriend and one of his recruiters.

“She felt like everything she had fought so hard for was going or gone. Couple this with the years of abuse she suffered at the hands of Epstein,” said the source about Giuffre, per The Mirror.

Another fellow sex trafficking survivor, Annie Farmer, claimed that Giuffre was dealing with “enormous pressure” before her death.

“I just know that being involved in this case has been an enormous amount of pressure for her, generally, in all the cases she was involved in,” Farmer told The Telegraph, referencing Giuffre’s settled suit against Prince Andrew.

Giuffre’s attorney, Karrie Louden, expressed disbelief over the preliminary reports of her client’s suicide.

“We’ve got big question marks over it,” the attorney told The Sun about Giuffre’s demise.

Louden went on to say that his client never showed any suicidal tendencies throughout their past conversations.

“When I got the phone call, I was like, ‘Are you joking?’ Because there was no sign that that was something she was considering,” she added.

Louden further noted that Giuffre’s suicide was unlikely because she had spoken with her about her plans for the future.

“She was in a lot of pain, but she was looking forward to things in the future,” the attorney said. “She wanted to renovate this house and all sorts of things like that.”

Although it remains unclear if any of the scenarios mentioned earlier contributed to Giuffre’s suicide, she remains “proud” of succeeding in her legal feud against Prince Andrew, according to her loved ones.

“When people told her ‘no’, or people told her they wouldn’t believe her, or that she was crazy, she would say ‘Watch me,'” Giuffre’s sister-in-law, Amanda Roberts, said in an interview with The Times.

“She was never afraid of any of those people,” her younger brother, Sky, also told the outlet.

One month after her death, Giuffre was laid to rest via cremation during a private funeral at the Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park in Padbury, Australia.
