Why Your Friends Are Secret Energy Vampires (And How Astrology Can Save You)

Added on June 29, 2025 inASTROLOGY CARDS

Ever wonder if your natal chart secretly scripts how your energy mingles with that random guy at the coffee shop or your long-lost best friend? Yeah, turns out we’re all buzzing fields of vibes—some folks lift you up like a double shot of espresso, while others drag you down faster than a bad date with a flat latte. And if you think these energy exchanges are carved in stone, think again—they’re as shiftable as the moon in Pisces. Lately, I’ve been geeking out about how certain people recharge your soul, like a deep chat that literally makes you breathe easier amidst the cosmic chaos. Funny enough, this all got tangled up in my latest binge of The Bear—a show rough around the edges but perfectly human, no fireworks or drama explosions here, just pure, messy emotion unfolding slow and steady. So how does all this jive with our celestial dance today? Maybe it’s time to ditch the machines and embrace that raw human spark—because no algorithm can replicate a real heart-to-heart buzz. People have energy fields, described by their natal charts. When people interact, they exchange energy, for good or ill.

Some people bring you up, others may bring you down. One person makes you feel wary; you’re hard for them to please.  With another, you’re generous and forgiving.  Further, these reactions are not necessarily static.  They may shift for long list of different reasons.

I want to focus on the positive interactions people have.  This came up in the podcast I did with, Frederick Woodruff. I explained how people recharged each other.  You’re feeling down and a talk with a friend, literally heals you.  You feel you can breathe again. Laugh and cry and live your life.

This also came up in the Shack Man story.  Sometimes, another person has the gas for your car.  Point here, is I don’t think machine is the same. That human spark; the human connection has something to do with the soul.

This is loosely related to this idea: Life & Your Intelligent Senses Tell All! We are all, amazing in this way.

Here’s I’m going bring a reference in, some may not relate to. A good writer would know better, but I want to take this deeper.

Last night, I was watching, season four of, The Bear.  I know a lot of people hate this show and I understand why. The first season is Italians, yelling, from beginning to end. Big payoff, at the end, if you could tolerate the voices, but whatever.  You either like the show or you don’t.

Carmy brooding

The second and third season did not help, as the tone changed.  People hate that.  I’m thinking of when Bob Dylan picked up an electric guitar.  We’ve also got, Carmy, brooding and seemingly endless pain in the heart just to view this thing.

If you made it to season four, guess what?  More of the same.  But I’ll tell you why I like this show, A LOT. It is not relying on sex, boobs, ass and BIG FIREY EXPLOSIANS.  Someone is not murdering or being murdered, every few minutes.  It’s not relying on fart jokes or backstabbing psychopaths. It’s not yet another show about lifestyles of one percenters.  It’s not focused on pushing an agenda.

Instead, we see flawed people, with natural human (not superhuman) emotion. They are scared, ambitious, blaming, acting out, trying… you know. They are being people, interacting with other people, not necessarily enjoying it. You know!  Like in real life?

In season four, this is really being highlighted. Do you have someone who will sit on the stoop with you and honestly talk to you about your life?  No, Insta? No agenda? Clothing on?

This show gives me hope. It portrays these type exchanges I’m talking about and it’s slow.  Life is also slow.  It unfolds!

Let’s say I have consultation with someone and it goes really well.  A year and two years and even years, down the road, that person will remember our connection, and it will propel them, still!

It’s like my sister telling me I would be a great astrologer. I can revisit that exchange; that point of truth, at any time. I can touch it.  From there I can be a great astrologer or I can forget about it.  My point here, is a machine cannot replicate this. Hearts connect. The absolutely connect and recharge and energize each other.

It’s disturbing how many have become convinced, they’re not only good, but better off alone. I think this is like being cut off from God.  God is written on every human heart. We are designed to recharge each other.  But to enjoy this, you have to get on the ground and be a human.

Back to show, it gives you time to feel. The music, is a great enhancement to this.  They also develop all the characters, which is true to life.  I’m talking about someone you meet who seems to be a background character, but who is really quite important. Shack man’s brother is a real life example. Or sometimes a person reads here for years, without so much a peep.  Then one day, they send me something epic.

This is the stuff like is made of.  I fear we are teaching kids to go to the machine for answers.  Oh my God, it’s tragic.
