Five band members and their driver briefly went missing in Mexico after posting mystery footage on social media.
Los Juniors de Monterrey were playing at a Father’s Day show at the La Kaprishosa bar in Guadalupe, Nuevo León on Sunday (15 June).
The group then headed to a private concert the following day as bassist Luis Dominguez, 23, shared a video of them with their instruments at the bar at midnight.
Then at around 3am, bassoonist Óscar Pérez, 24, posted a video on Instagram appearing to show them waiting on the side of a road.

Their location was tagged in the municipality of General Terán and the band looked to have an issue with their 2018 Suburban.
“Oh, just technical problems,” Pérez was heard saying in the background of the video.

The Attorney General’s Office of Nuevo León identified the following people as missing:
• Backup accordionist Francisco Alfaro, 18
• Bassist Luis Dominguez, 23
• Vocalist Abraham Ontiveros, 23
• Bassoonist Óscar Pérez, 24
• Drummer Leonardo Rubio, 33
• Driver Lorenzo Martínez, 40
Fernando Martínez, Los Juniors’ accordionist, was not travelling with the group on Sunday and was instead covered by Francisco Alfaro.
He said that the people who hired the band for the private concert were not ‘regular customers’.
“New clients come out at every club, and that guy was the one who called, and well, he’s not a regular customer, and he confirmed to us that they didn’t come to the event,” he told local media.
Ontiveros’ mother, Karla Leal, said she last heard from her son at 2.30am.
“They went to cover a client’s event. We don’t know if it’s a new client or a regular one,” she said.
Nuevo León Governor Samuel García confirmed that the band were alive and well in a statement on X on Tuesday (17 June).
“The young people from the Los Juniors de Monterrey group are well and with their families,” the governor said.
The group also said in a statement: “GaD we are already fine and with our families, thank you for your prayers, God will multiply them.”
A family member of the one of the members said the band were fine, but had a few bruises, according to Info Bae.
Jorge Nava told reporters: “You already saw them enter, if you managed to see them then you managed to see that they are physically fine. After the scare and the experience… some blows, right now they are going to value them.”
