Jeremy Clarkson has been the star under the spotlight for what feels like forever—his face practically synonymous with any room that has a camera in it. Yet, have you ever caught yourself wondering: who’s this Top Gear titan really when the cameras power down and the crew packs up? Well, buckle up, because Lisa Hogan, the Irish model and his longtime partner, offers an irresistible peek behind the scene curtain. Think of it like Mercury in Gemini peeling back that charming, rapid-fire intellect of Jeremy’s, revealing the man who’s as curious and fizzing with vibrant energy off-camera as he is on. She swears what you see on Clarkson’s Farm isn’t just an act but the real deal, though she cheekily admits when mics are on, that’s when she gets the upper hand in their banter. It’s a bit like a cosmic chess match—two masters, only with more wit and fewer pawns. Intrigued yet? Well, of course you are. LEARN MORE
Jeremy Clarkson is well accustomed to having a camera pointed in his direction, thanks to his decades-long career in the television industry.
But have you ever wondered what the Top Gear legend, 65, is like when a filming crew isn’t following his every move?
Well, wonder no more, as his partner Lisa Hogan has now dished the dirt on what he is really like behind the scenes.
The Irish model, 51, has also become a regular fixture on our screens in recent years with the Amazon Prime series, Clarkson’s Farm.
She credits Clarkson‘s years of experience in showbiz for the success of the show, recently telling the Daily Mail: “He’s been in the business long enough to visualise it all.
“He’s a couple of chess moves ahead.”
Hogan confessed she was a big fan of her fella’s work before they got together in 2017, however, she was more interested in his writing than his TV career.

“I used to let my son stay up to watch Top Gear, but I never really watched it myself,” the actress said. “I knew him more from his writing. I always loved his columns.
“I thought he was bright – and probably amusing. And I think he thought I’d be amusing.”
So before they were set up by pals at a gathering nine years ago, the pair both had some preconceived notions about one another – just like viewers will have made their fair share of assumptions, too.
In a similar fashion to how Hogan and Clarkson weighed each other up before they started dating, fans of their work have all contemplated what they are actually like off-screen.
The couple don’t seem to fussed about filtering themselves on Clarkson’s Farm, but is this all a front?
According to Hogan, what you see is what you get with The Grand Tour star.
Asked whether Clarkson behaves differently when the cameras stop rolling, she said: “He’s always incredibly inquisitive.
“His mind is always on the move. He’ll come in fizzing with energy about the smallest thing. I like that.”

However, Hogan did admit that he sometimes tones himself down when they are being filmed – so if she has something to say that he might not like, she does it in front of the cameras.
“I’ve worked out that when he’s wearing a mic, he can’t interrupt me,” she joked. “So that’s when I go for it.”
Still, Hogan said she avoids picking a fight with her partner, explaining: “I’m more conniving than that. Why argue with someone like Jeremy? He’s so eloquent. I have to be a bit more…nimble. I like the long-term diplomatic approach.”
Although they behave a lot like a married couple, these two say they are content with simply being boyfriend and girlfriend.
Hogan said they are happy just being together ’24/7′, while their children from former relationships all ‘really care about each other’.
In a previous interview with Fabulous Magazine, she spoke about Clarkson being her final partner, saying: “You go: ‘God, is it you I end up with? OK, that’s it’.”
Discussing the prospect of the TV star ever putting a ring on it, she said: “Mrs Clarkson? No, thank you, I like Lisa Hogan.”
