So, Mercury’s decided to camp out in Leo starting June 26, 2025—like way past its usual checkout time, roughly two and a half times longer than normal. Imagine Mercury as that overeager party guest who doesn’t want to leave, shining a spotlight on your mental game—and maybe cranking up the drama in one or two areas of your life chart. Mid-July, it hits 15 degrees, then pulls the classic retrograde move, sliding back to 4 degrees Leo before strutting forward again come August 11. I can’t help but wonder, will you be reveling in Leo’s fiery charm, or feeling like this royal spotlight is just too much? For me? Mercury lighting up my 7th house means a lovefest of talks and creative musings about relationships—and yeah, I’m here for it. But if your chart boasts a bunch of planets chilling in Taurus, Scorpio, or Aquarius, uh-oh, it might feel more like a stubborn headache than a dazzling show. So, what’s your take? Thumbs up for this extended Leo soiree or a big, fat nope? LEARN MORE.

I don’t view this as a problem, especially as the planet will not be stressed much during this period. But it will focus mental energy on one or two houses in your chart. You may also want to consider how aspects planets in your chart.
As an example, Mercury in Leo lands in my 7th house (relationships). It conjoin my natural Venus (relationships) and trine my Mercury and Mars in Libra (relationships).
I’d expect to have a lot of one on one conversations and perhaps to write about love and social relationships in general. I like this stuff; creative (Leo) writing (Mercury as well, so this looks to be a good transit for me. You may feel differently.
For example, if you have a stellium in Taurus, Scorpio or Aquarius or a large number of planets in these signs, I could see this getting very annoying!
