Inside Diddy’s Hotel Room Playbook: Former Assistant Spills the Wild Prep Rituals You Won’t Believe!

Added on May 20, 2025 inCelebrity News Cards

Ever wonder what goes into prepping a hotel room for a mega star like Diddy? Turns out, it’s not just fresh towels and fluffy pillows—there’s an entire arsenal of items, some pretty eyebrow-raising, that his former assistant David James spilled the beans on during the ongoing trial. Now, before you think this sounds like the usual celebrity pampering, brace yourself—this is all happening under the intense glare of a federal courtroom where Sean “Diddy” Combs stands accused of serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering, charges he vehemently denies. With the Sun currently gliding through Gemini, the sign of communication and revelations, maybe it’s no coincidence that new testimonies—from ex-partner Cassie Ventura and now James himself—are unfolding right in front of our eyes. From fresh underwear, snacks like Jell-O, and iPads to a medicine bag packed with everything from Viagra to Percocet, the list reads like something out of a bizarre hotel room checklist meets a pharmaceutical catalog. And the drama? Oh, it’s only just getting started as prosecutors hope these details will tip the scales on the racketeering allegations. Talk about a trial that’s got more layers than your average cosmic chart! LEARN MORE

Diddy’s ex assistant has spoken in details of the items that he would allegedly prep hotel rooms with for his then-employer.

Diddy, real name Sean Combs, is currently on trial for two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, racketeering conspiracy and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution — all of which he has denied.

Proceedings started earlier this month, with opening statements taking place on May 12.

Since then, Diddy’s ex partner Cassie Ventura has taken to the stand and made a series of bombshell allegations about the Bad Boy Records founder.

Now, his former assistant David James has taken to the stand.

James, who worked for Diddy for two years between 2007 to 2009, spoke this morning (May 20) and detailed the numerous items he’d allegedly put into hotel rooms for Diddy.

As per The Washington Post, James said that some of the personal items he’d supply for Diddy included things like fresh underwear, socks, slides and iPads, along with various snacks, including applesauce, Jell-O and Fiji water.

The ‘Last Night’ hitmaker also reportedly required a toiletry bag filled with ’40 different cosmetic products’.

In addition to all these items was a medicine bag supposedly filled with ’35 to 40′ different types of medications. James listed Advil, Tylenol, water pills (to lose weight), and Viagra as some of the tablets in the bag.

Allegedly, Diddy also had meds to ‘increase his sperm count’, as well as Percocet and ecstasy.

James further claimed that Diddy’s security would carry a Louis Vuitton bag filled with cash, which sometimes had as much as $10,000 or more inside.

Prosecutors hope that what James said will help them establish the racketeering charges Diddy is facing.

James’ testimony comes after jurors were shown photographic evidence of the contents of one of Diddy’s hotel rooms.

Snaps showed bottles of lubricant and baby oil, a bottle of Clonazepam medication (something used to try a variety of different things, such as anxiety disorders, seizures, and bipolar mania), and $9,000 worth of cash.

A suspicious-looking pink drug was also discovered by cops, which later went on to test positive for ketamine in one bag, and the other a mixture of MDMA and ketamine.

The United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) describes ketamine as ‘a dissociative aesthetic that has some hallucinogenic effects’. Meanwhile MDMA is both a ‘stimulant and hallucinogen’.
