"Mo'Nique’s Prophetic Warn To Shannon Sharpe Dating Young Starlets Sends Social Media Into a Frenzy"

Hi there, celebrity hounds and astrology aficionados! Let’s crack open the cosmos for a sec—oh dear, if you’ve tuned into Mars transiting through tough spots in your fifth house of romance, it’s advisingf you to tread carefully in love (especially if you’re a certain age!). Now, picture this: Shannon Sharpe, former NFL tight end, hunky with accolades up to his ears, and now the subject of some eye-popping astrological advice—or shall we say, a cosmic no-no?

Mo’Nique, the queen of comedy with a tongue sharp enough to cut, who last I checked, shared the same birthday as our sultry Scorpio, Ciara, graced the ‘Club Shay Shay’ podcast with her wisdom. You know, in astrology, Saturn is teaching us all lessons; and Mo’Nique, educated herself or maybe unwittingly following the stars, threw a little planetary shade at Shannon. It was like Mercury retrograde had her back, pulling out all these insights to turn back time on his dating escapades.

What did sheuple? Well, she basically told Sharpe, in a sort of cosmic, comic warning, to steer clear from the young chicks—words to the wise from probably a Sagittarius’s blunt honesty. Now, fast forward, and wouldn’t you know, Shannon is embroiled in a lawsuit for talking to dinner with a galaxy of legal woes! With Jupiter, the planet of expansion, this time unfortunate expansion of his legal troubles, perhaps Mo’Nique’s advice was foreshadowing in full Venus retrograde style!

Here’s the plot twist—could Mo’Nique’s comments during a Scorpio Moon (indicative of endings), coming true when the same moon hits Capricorns’ (Sharpe’s sun sign) opposition? That’s when the bombshell of a lawsuit for sexual assault hits, filed by one Gabriella Zuniga, a young 19-year-old. The allegations are out of this world, and not in the good way. A, folks, this ain’t your garden variety Sun in Aries brawling, this is Scorpio dark underbelly stuff.

Now, let’s delve into the social media cosmos where the users dig up the old episode like miners for gold. They’re chuckling, they’re shading, and honestly, they’re just shocked that someone known for his Super Bowl rings might now be trading them in for a lawsuit n lawsuit. “Mo’Nique warned him better than any astrologer ever could, but did he listen?” someone quipped on X (Twitter to the uninitiated).

And amidst the humor, there’s a collective head-shake, “Why mess with the astrological harmony?” It’s like Sharpe decided to date against the stars’ advice, and look where it got him. NotTaurus doesn’t just mess around with spring weather; it’s canland ours, cherries blossom at their own pace!

I mean, you’ve got to wonder, what was the conversation like when the stars clearly said, “This is not your love match”? Here’s where astrology might make some headway—Saturn says, “Sit down and think about your life choices, Shannon!”

And to make matters messier, Sharpe’s legal reps are playing defense, releasing what they call consensual texts, but there’s celestial drama brewing. His lawyer seems to have taken a page out of Pluto’s playbook—total transformation or self-destruction!

Let me tell you, in this saga of stars and lawsuits, emotions are flaring like a Leo sun. Fans, supporters, and stars alike are weighing in, and not in a “Let’s high five and forget this happened” kind of way.

So, what do we learn from all this astrological and legal entanglements? Maybe it’s a hard lesson on listening to the celestial wisdom, perhaps mixed with a dash of Mo’Nique’s no-nonsense advice: “Stay in your lane, Shannon.”

Be sure to check your birth chart if you’re meddling with youngsters, you might just find Neptune confusing your affections. We could all use a bit more Saturnian discipline in our romantic lives!

Social media users are reacting to an old clip of comedian Mo’Nique warning Shannon Sharpe about the dangers of messing with younger women when she appeared on his popular podcast, “Club Shay Shay.”

The chatter about Mo’Nique’s words comes days after Shannon Sharpe was slapped with a $50 million lawsuit, filed by Tony Buzbee and Gabriella Zuniga, which alleges the NFL player sexually assaulted Zuniga, whom he met in 2023 in Los Angeles.

Comedian Mo’Nique Gave Shannon Sharpe Words Of Wisdom Prior To Being Sued For $50 Million

Days after Sharpe was blasted with a multi-million-dollar lawsuit, which he and his legal team have denied so far, social media users dug up a clip from an old episode of his “Club Shay Shay” podcast in which Mo’Nique threw a little shade at Sharpe for his dating practices.

In the clip, Sharpe asked Mo’Nique to share her opinion about dating in today’s day in age, noting “it’s different now.”

Mo’Nique replied, “It’s different, baby. I’m grateful I’m not 56 and trying.”

After Sharpe asked the comedian if she was speaking to him indirectly, she stood firmly in her position, adding, “I’m looking right at you! I ain’t backing down.”

She continued, “You’d better take your old a-s and get somebody to love you.”

What Is Shannon Sharpe Being Sued For?

The Blast previously reported on the lawsuit that was filed in a Nevada court on April 21, claiming Sharpe assaulted and battered a woman.

The legal documents claim that Sharpe met the 20-year-old girl, who has now been revealed as Gabriella Zuniga, at a Los Angeles Gym when he was in his mid-50s.

Although their relationship started casually, it progressed, becoming flirty and, as the lawsuit states, eventually controlling.

According to Buzbee, who made statements on behalf of his client, Sharpe “demanded complete control” over Zuniga’s “time and body.” He went on to say that Sharpe, who used to play in the NFL for the Denver Broncos, expected her “to be at his house on his schedule, at his command, whenever he called.”

However, the horror doesn’t end there.

Buzbee and Zuniga alleged Sharpe also raped her on different occasions. The documents note that the first assault happened in 2024 after Zuniga attempted to end her alleged relationship with Sharpe following his sex scandal on Instagram Live. The second allegedly occurred in January 2025 when Sharpe was supposed to be delivering holiday gifts to Zuniga.

Social Media Reacts To Mo’Nique’s Comments

On X, formerly Twitter, social media users replied to the resurfaced clip of Mo’Nique giving Sharpe advice about dating younger women.

“Mo’Nique warned Shannon, but Shannon did not want to listen,” someone wrote, while another said, “He thought it was cute and funny, but [Mo’Nique] wasn’t speaking nothing but facts!”

“Black women always be knowing,” someone else posted. “You get caught up when you don’t listen. Mo’Nique was trying to tell him in a joking way, but still, he stayed doing stupid old man things.”

A fourth user also chimed in and expressed sadness that Sharpe would be remembered for his controversies rather than his time on the field.

“It’s a shame Shannon Sharpe won’t be remembered for being one of the greatest tight ends ever,” they wrote. “Just a freaky, old n-gga who loves LeBron James.”

Several other users blasted Sharpe for allegedly entertaining a young adult in the first place.

“56 f-ckin a 21-year-old OnlyFans br-ds sounds like a sad life to live,” they wrote.

Another user clearly agreed, writing, “I just wanna know what the conversation be about when you 54 and she’s 19.”

Shannon Sharpe’s Lawyer Admitted The NFL Player Was Involved With Zuniga In A Sexual Manner

Following the lawsuit hitting the internet, Sharpe‘s legal representative, Lanny J. Davis, posted a statement on his client’s behalf.

In the lengthy Instagram post, Davis claimed Zuniga and Buzbee were creating falsehoods to obtain “millions of dollars” from Sharpe.

“It is filled with lies, distortions, and misrepresentations,” he wrote.

He went on to say that Buzbee would likely release an edited sex tape of Zuniga and Sharpe that’s been edited to paint the latter in a negative light.

To combat their claims, Davis released several text messages he said Zuniga sent Sharpe during their relationship.

“To set the record straight, we are releasing several of Ms. Zuniga’s own explicit text messages to Mr. Sharpe that clearly indicate the nature of their relationship was consensual and sexual in nature — and, in many cases, initiated by her with specific and graphic requests,” the statement read.

The Texts Revealed

Social media post about Shannon Sharpe that reads, "How are you, as a Black man, not embarassed/grossed out by repeatedly engaging sexually with a non-Black person who wants your baby gracy s they can have big and black [babies] with you? You like it. And, for that, you're a weirdo."

The text messages released are graphic in nature; however, according to Davis, both parties enjoyed roleplaying with each other.

“I want you to put a dog collar around my neck and choke me with it while you’re f-cking me,” one message read, while another said Sharpe could have “each cheek” for “$25k.”

Another text allegedly sent to Sharpe asked the Hall of Famer to put his “baby gravy in me,” while another told him to “put a big black baby in me.”

In his response to the noise, Sharpe claimed he was the target of a shakedown; however, he was determined to clear his name.

“To my family, friends, supporters, and colleagues, I want to speak to you directly and from the heart,” Sharpe said. “This is a shakedown. I’m gonna be open, transparent, and defend myself, because this isn’t right.”

Later, on April 22, Sharpe’s lawyer admitted the media personality attempted to settle the case out of court by offering “at least” $10 million. However, Zuniga chose to walk away from the mediation table, seemingly implying she and Buzbee are looking to take things to court.
